Just over half a mile from the doorstep is the Exe Estuary where guests can enjoy a relaxing stroll towards either Exmouth or Topsham. Set on the edge of Lympstone village which offers a choice of public houses a village store/Post Office and a coffee shop. The estuary trail from Exmouth to Exeter is popular with walkers and cyclists. The seaside resort of Exmouth is close by with it s cliff top walks and stunning views of the bay also with sand dunes rock pools and seaside attractions. Darts Farm with it s award winning farm shop is within easy reach as is Topsham. The Exe River café (seasonal opening hours) is accessed via boat and is well worth a visit. The historic Cathedral city of Exeter is a short drive train or bus ride the Roman Quarry Caves and Seaton Electric Tramway are also nearby.
