Comfortable and ideally located to visit Tuscany

Located in the peaceful coutryside of Tuscany, the place is ideal to visit nice villages and famous cities. We enjoyed the charm of the house, comfortable and well-equiped. The pool was perfectly clean and big enough to be shared by the 3 families who rented at the same time. It was a real pleasure after a long day of visit. Massimo, the owner, is very nice and did his best to help us, advise us and make us feel at home. Thank you so much for your kindness!

Amazing place!

As a family of 4, we had one of our best holidays yet. This was largely down to the hospitality of Massimo and Maria-they really do go above and beyond to make your holiday special. Very kind people who we will always remember. We stayed in the downstairs of the house and there was more than enough room for the 4 of us. It is decorated beautifully and is very comfortable. The little touches such as a hamper were lovely. The pool is a perfect temperature and the children had lots of fun. We felt so safe there, and it was so relaxing and peaceful. I can't wait to return! Massimo's wine is excellent. There is a dairy very close by where you can buy fresh milk, cheese and yoghurt. Two good supermarkets within a 15 minute drive. So many beautiful places to visit close by. It's a fabulous location. As well as Florence and Pisa, we loved San Gimignano, Chianni, Volterra, Lari, Lajatico and much more. Beautiful beaches close by too. We loved Viareggio. Use Massimo and Maria's book of recommendations for some super restaurants. Our favourites were Nellos in Lajatico and Locanda del Gallo in Chianni. Wonderful traditional Tuscan food at great prices. Thank you Massimo and Maria for an absolutely wonderful holiday xxx

Perfect summer retreat, lovely hosts

We had an absolutely lovely, flawless stay at Podere Benevento, staying for 10 days with our 3 pre-teen children. Massimo's hospitality went well beyond mere performance of professional duties, serving self-picked fruit to all his guests. He made us feel right at home and was extremely helpful with anything ranging from recommending restaurants to pointing us in the direction of a place where we could replace our broken car DVD player. The flat is airy, spacious, well-equipped (extra points for the free wifi) and the setting is absolutely stunning between vineyards and a farm with a flock of sheep. The pool is exceptionally well maintained, always clean and inviting. The house is within easy reach of Volterra and Pisa, the perfect base for both a relaxed summer break and serious sightseeing. Warmly recommended!

Great place to stay for a relaxing vacation in Tuscany

Incredible nice host! I cant remember when I have had such a warm welcome before. The rooms provide everything you need, its nice and cool inside during hot summers. The view and location are outstanding. The service is incredible. Definitely recommend and wouldnt hesitate to come back. All the best Massimo!
