Apartment with sea views in a real Canarian town

Beautiful apartment with views to die for. Located in the small city of Los Realejos just minutes from the famous resort town of Puerto de la Cruz. The apartment is fully furnished . It has a large kitchen with lots of windows proving beautiful canarian light. There is a washing machine, modern glas top stove and a state of the art oven. A furnished balcon with magnificent views of the sea, mountains and farmlands. The small city of Los Realejos 14,000 is near enough to Puerto de la Cruz so as to have all the amenities of a bigger resort town like the salt water pool, ( natrual sea water piped in) a beautiful botanical garden, a world famous zoo and sea aquarium (Loro Parque) Los Realejos Is a "real Canarian" town without the tourist crowd and prices (you can still get a glass of wine in Los Realejos for €1 and a cup of coffee for 80 cents

About Roger and Coral Eiers

We are a German/Jamaican couple who love to travel. We have lived in Florida, California, Germany and now in Tenerife, Canary Islands. We have travelled extensively over the last 25 years and have always stayed in vacation apartments instead of hotels.

Why Roger and Coral Eiers chose North Tenerife

Since we are such avid travellers and usually stay in vacation rentals. We know the lovely sense of peace and joy when you arrive at a rental and it meets or better yet exceeds your expectation. With that in mind we tried hard to exceed our guests expectation when preparing this unit for them.

What makes this apartment unique

The location of this apartment is great, right in the middle of this small city. And even though it is in a multi family building it is extremely quiet and peaceful ( Tenerifans are very respectful of neighbors) I like the fact that there are so many things within walking distance. Los Realejos is a very walkable city, the main grocery chain of the island is a 5 minutes walk, cafes restaurants and bars, fruit shops, only minutes away. Clothing and shoe boutiques within 2-3 minutes plus a very good and reasonably priced bus system that has connections all around the island once you step out the door .

Great accomodation for a reasonable price

We stayed in Los Realejos for 12 nights and it has been a complete pleasure. The appartment is cosy and easily accommodated the five of us. Although the town seems busy at night with a lot of traffic there was no noticeable noise inside. It is fully equipped with every kind of gadget you might need during your stay including washing machine and iron. It is a good base camp if you intend to visit the Teide national park, beaches are also near. The only down side is parking as you may easily end up leaving your car hundreds of meters away. On the other hand, local police seem to be pretty relaxed as we never got fined :-) The owner was also very kind and always ready to help and give advice over the phone or email. Overall, I can only recommend. PS the image of view from the terrace was apparently taken from a higher place as the real view has the ocean partly obscured by buildings.

Owner's Response: Thanks Ondrej for the nice things you said about the apt. We try very hard to do all we can so our guests can have a comfortable stay. Being avid travelers ourselves we know what a pleasure it is when you arrive at a new destination after the stress of the journey and find everything just so. We have also had the opposite exp. and when the accommodation is not fitting the whole vacation gets off to an unpleasant start.. Just would like to make a few clarifications so that the future guests dont get the wrong picture.. The parking situation is really typical in los realejos unless one has a private parking garage but its not really a problem. We lived in the apt for over a year and managed quite well. It is very common to double park in front of the building and unload groceries ,suitcases etc and then drive a bit further to park usually not more than 200 meters or so. As far as the pics are concerned the title pic that I believe you refer to is taken from the balcony but it is a zoomed shot and the rest of the photos showing the sea is taken from the balcony with a wide swath of the sea so it is rightly called a sea-view apartment

Great Ocean and Mountain View from Patio

We stayed at this property for almost three months and very much enjoyed ourselves. The village of Los Realejos is a nice little village to get away from the chaos of the larger resort areas. It is very hilly, so the area may not be conducive for walking for some people. There are a couple of nice restaurants nearby that we frequented often. The bus stop is only a few blocks away, which was convenient as we did not rent a car. There is also a market nearby. We did find ourselves going to Puerto Cruz and Santa Cruz quite often for more variety of restaurants, the beach and English speaking people. Our Spanish is not good and we did find that the locals in this village didn't speak much English. Overall, we had a great time.

appartement bien situé

nous avons séjourné dans cet appartement pendant une semaine

bien situé pour visiter l’Île du sud au nord ,depuis votre balcon vous aurez une superbe vue.

en partant le matin a 9 heures vous pourrez voir un maxi de villages et vous apprécierez la gentillesse des Îliens malgré la difficulté de la langue, nous somme toujours arrivés a notre but.seul petit problème c'est le soir en rentrant vous aurez difficilement des places, n'hésitez pas a faire deux fois le tour ça bouge beaucoup ,

belle Île des paysages a vous couper le souffle la partie nord est notre préférée encore sauvage.

pour vous rendre a l'appartement programmer sur votre gps 45 rue saint augustin et la rue 1 calle Virgen et juste a deux mètres

la rue virgen nous n'avons pas eu le courage de la monter trop raide ?

l'appartement était propre équipé pour 4 personnes ce qui nous a manqué c'est une penderie dans la petite chambre et quelques renseignements pour nos achats et sorties au restaurants ,la chance a été avec nous dans notre choix

n’hésitez pas a rendre visite a la petite boutique a côté ,vous y trouverez des petits bijoux et des écharpes bien meilleurs marché que dans les villes et très gentille les petits commerçants du coin sont super!!!
