A tranquil hideaway full of charm

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful cottage in a lovely secluded location (a little hard to find but well worth it). It is all decorated and furnished with wonderful taste and extremely well equipped.

On the ground floor is a lovely large open plan living room/dining room/kitchen (with a rather low ceiling beam if you are over 6 foot tall). There is also a compact double bedroom on the ground floor along with a shower room and toilet. Up a narrow staircase and through a very small doorway is a large open plan loft area with several beds (one double and a few single), a shower room with toilet plus a partitioned/curtained end room with yet another double bed.

The house has a well equipped kitchen, lovely large sofas and several chairs. It also has many games (badminton, and other balls/rackets), board games, (French) books and a TV.

The owner, Annick, is an extremely friendly and helpful lady who was very tolerant of my meagre French.

We had a wonderful stay. We would love to visit again and would definitely recommend.

A very nice and confortable house !

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful holiday in this lovely house. The location is perfect if you go for a quiet and peaceful holiday. The information as described is correct, the house is very well equipped and leaves nothing to wish for.

The land-lady is very relaxed and helpfull. She lives on the premises, but the holiday house has a lot of privacy. The main house is difficult to see from the holiday house.

We made a small mistake with our reservation ( we didn't know we had to leave already ), but we could stay an additional night without any problem and for a very reasonable price.

We would recommend this house to families who are looking for peace, quietness and privacy. A small village ( Bernay ) is nearby and you can find all you need over there. A supermarket, a swimming pool, shops, restaurants and all in a very nice setting.

The house is a little difficult to find if you have the adress, best thing to do is use the coordinates in Google Maps to get there, it's at the very end of the road, to your right.

We hope your holiday will be as nice as ours !

Charmante maison en pleine campagne

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5

Foncez !

Très agréable

  • 5 of 5
