The living space is decorated with a unique outdoor space including private pool and large grounds well maintained and easily accessible. The surroundings are, too, dotted with typical and interesting places besides the half hour only, which separates the house from Avignon and its curiosities. An ideal place to spend a dream holiday.

Exzellente Lage

Wir waren im September 2023 zwei Wochen in der Unterkunft. Die Lage ist exzellent, wenn man auf das Departement Gard und das angrenzende Tal der Ardèche fokussiert. Nimes, der Pont-du-Gard, Uzès, Alès sind in angenehmer Distanz. Wer allerdings die Camargue und das Mittelmeer erreichen möchte, muss viel Fahrerei einplanen. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig. Die vorbeiführende Straße wird nur von Einheimischen genutzt und fällt daher nicht auf. Eine Bäckerei und eine Epicerie sind im Nachbarort Saint-Laurent-la-Vernède zu finden, ebenso das Weingut Natura. Wer regelmäßig im Restaurant essen will, muss sich mindestens in einem Umkreis von 10 Kilometern orientieren. Das Haus verfügt über alle erforderlichen Ausstattungen. Der Pool war auch im September warm genug. Ein Poolwart erschien einmal pro Woche. Das eingewachsene Grundstück bietet sehr guten Sichtschutz. Wir haben uns dort wohlgefühlt.

Aufenthalt in kleinem Paradies

Wir haben die 10 Tage in Fontareches sehr genossen. Das Haus mit Pool steht auf einem weit angelegten Gelände, das von der Straße her nicht einsehbar ist . Man ist somit vollkommen ungestört. Die Küche ist für 8 Personen mit allen Kochutensilien ausgestattet- phantastisch. Es gibt 3 Schlafräume mit Mückengitter (sehr nützlich bei den vielen Insekten)- wir haben sehr gut geschlafen, auch die Matratzen waren gut) , ein Badezimmer und eine Toilette. Der Eingang geschieht durch den angrenzenden Abstellraum/ Keller, was nicht sehr einladend ist, da dort sämtliche ältere Utensilien gelagert sind. Wenn man aber erstmal die Haupttür geöffnet hat, kann man auch immer durch den Eingang zur Terrasse hereinkommen. Das ist dann netter. Die Einführung ins Haus war sehr kurz, so dass wir uns alles selbst "erobern" mussten. Wo gibt es eine Tischdecke oder Tischsets, wo Auflagen für die Stühle, etc. Am Ende kannten wir uns sehr gut aus, eine kleine Broschüre mit Hauptinfos wäre da hilfreich. Das Wohnzimmer ist mit 2 Sofas wohnlich eingerichtet, aber sie haben schon etliche Flecken und alles könnte etwas besser in Stand gehalten werden. Egal, wir haben uns hauptsächlich draußen und am Pool aufgehalten, für uns war es ein paradiesischer Urlaub in der Nähe von Uzes und am Pont du Gard. Wir wollen wiederkommen!

Mooie plek en fijn huis

Wij hebben met onze vier kinderen een week in dit huis gelogeerd. Het huis is niet groot, maar van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is een nieuwe keuken, die zeer goed is uitgerust met alle benodigde apparatuur en veel serviesgoed e.d. De kleine badkamer is ook netjes, met een goede douche. De benedenslaapkamer is comfortabel, de twee slaapkamers boven zijn niet groot en het blijft er hoogzomer erg warm in de nachten. Met ventilatoren lukt het om het vol te houden, maar een airco was fijn geweest. Let op dat er geen linnengoed aanwezig is. Ook geen handdoeken. Het woonkamergedeelte is in orde en net groot genoeg voor ons gezin. Wij vinden het huis binnen niet geschikt voor 8 personen. Buiten wel: er is een ruime buitentafel en het is heerlijk toeven in de grote tuin. Het zwembad is fijn en voorzien van een afsluitbaar hek. Het is wel diep, dat kan lastig zijn met kinderen zonder zwemdiploma. De communicatie met de verhuurder was top. Helaas was er in ons geval geen persoonlijke ontvangst bij aankomst. Kortom: wij hebben een fijn verblijf gehad en raden dit huis zeker aan!

Très bon séjour à Fontarèches

Nous avons loué la maison pour 2 semaines. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour sur place. La maison est très bien équipée et située dans un village très calme. Les villes et villages aux alentours sont superbes. Une très chouette location que nous recommandons. A bientôt
