You can glimpse the majestic Pic du Canigou or swim in a river converted into a small pond at the foot of Felluns. A few minutes away by car, you can visit many exceptional sites (Gorges de Galamus, Bugarach, Orgue des Fées, etc.), discover the rich heritage of the region of Fenouillèdes (Cathar castles, Roman church, picturesque villages, etc.), explore the prehistory of mankind at the museum of Tautavel, visit the many cellars and taste local wines (Côtes du Roussillon, Muscat de Rivesaltes, Maury, etc.), go hiking (many fitted paths and discovery paths) and many other sport activities in the middle of nature (white water sports, biking, climbing, horse riding, etc.). Via Ferrata and rafting accessible to children (introduction circuit). You can also discover the many local producers (fruits and vegetables, olive oil, honey, cheese, etc.) and take part in the cultural events and local feasts. In the neighbouring village, Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet, you will find all the necessary infrastructures (cash point, supermarket, shops, petrol station, doctor, etc.) The Mediterranean Sea and its beaches are only 45 minutes and Carcassonne and Spain are 1 h away. Dali Museum in Figueres is 2 h away.

About Fabienne Wetterwald

An Alsatian origin, former primary school teacher and lifeguard, I got engrossed in this region. After a very successful career, I wanted to develop a new project that would give me the opportunity to use all my skills and pursue all my passions. I love the nature, history and all types of arts including architecture and decoration. I also love writing and I published several poetry collections. I also love sports and hiking. I studied archaeology, art history and multimedia. I love meeting people and share my discoveries. I live on site and I will be delighted to welcome you.

Why Fabienne Wetterwald chose Fenouilledes

Felluns is a wonderful place where are mixed all the ingredients of a peaceful and rich life. The architectural construction in which is located the holiday cottage is composed of the 3 oldest houses of the village. They are built on rocks. 4 holiday cottages have already been renovated (former sheepfold, former forge, former café and troglodyte area). I wanted to preserve the atmosphere of this place to let my guests discover this rich region and come recharge their batteries there.

What makes this house unique

Authenticity, quietness and comfort. Label Gîtes de France 3 épis. Between sea and mountain. Wonderful views of the landscape of the garigue.

  • 4 of 5

  • 4 of 5

  • 5 of 5

A bientôt
