Water damage mildew

  • 2 of 5

The beach was great and Lexington is a nice town. But the cottage has water damage at the sliding door and side cabinet. The mildew smell was awful and since it was very hot we could not keep the windows open. The kitchen and first floor bath are very nice. Loved the area but will not be returning to this cottage.

Owner's Response: There is some VERY slight water damage at the doorwall, but there is absolutely no mildew and no smell. We've stayed and we've had many, many guests and this is the very first complaint. Also, this guest did not indicate any problem with me during his/her stay as we would have remedied the situation.

End of the year get away

  • 5 of 5

Comfortable, quiet, and clean. Enjoyed the walks in the neighborhood and the morning sunrise. Golf was great and really enjoyed Lexington. Restaurants were good and the service was excellent. The owner and her husband were a great help when a unexpected cooling spell came up. Loved it. Will do again soon.
