One bedroom Gulf front condo with Gulf and sunset views. Sleeps 4

The Apollo is one of the nicest buildings on Marco Island. It is a well-kept building with a friendly atmosphere. Security is given high priority and there is a rolling program of maintenance and a manager's office on site which keeps standards up. With no road between the building and the beach, the only thing keeping you from sinking your toes in the white sand is a visit to the privately owned restaurant and bar located in the complex.

Your stay at the Apollo includes air conditioning and access to elevators, laundry facilities, a swimming pool and hot tub, tennis courts, and covered parking. The beach is fairly firm for walking, consisting of tiny fragments of shell. Shell collecting and beach walking are popular pastimes among guests at the Apollo.

A local rental company will take care of you throughout your stay.

Marco Beach is a place to fall in love with. From your balcony, you look out on to a fabulous three and a half mile beach with access via a short boardwalk over protected seagrass. If you choose to stay within the comforts of your unit, you can sit on the included chairs and table and still see the beach with pelicans and seabirds flying above, dolphins hanging around in the gulf, and in season turtles that come ashore in the moonlight to lay their eggs. A spectacular sunset over the water can be seen every night from your west facing balcony.

Off season rentals require at least a check in or check out day to be a Saturday.

About Dave & Angela Barth

My wife and I first found and fell in love with Marco Island while driving around Florida in 1993. Back then all we could do was dream we might get back there someday. In April of 2014 we stayed in the Apollo for our 25th anniversary trip. Well, we still loved it and in December we returned and bought a little piece of paradise... unit 1003 in The Apollo. I am a fire fighter and my wife is a teacher in New Jersey. We have 2 children, 18 yo Jake and 16 yo Rachel. In a few short years the kids will be off to college and we will be retired in Marco Island, until then we are fortunate enough to be able to share Marco Island with our family and friends and our friends we don't know yet. 'You can't make old friends.'

Location, location, location. The Apollo offers everything the vacationing couple or small family could want. Everything in the complex is conveniently located. Short walk to the beach, pool, hot tub, fitness center, tennis, laundry and on-site bar/restaurant. Pride in ownership resounds throughout the building.

Located in the desirable South Marco area, access to restaurants and other conveniences is easy.

What makes this condo unique

The Sunset Grille is on the first floor for snacks, dinner or drinks. Apollo is one of the few beach front buildings with weekly rentals available on Marco Island.

Perfect, cozy spot for a getaway for us. Walk to beach, restaurant. The unit 1003 was very nice. We had pretty much everything we needed for our stay. We only had to purchase personal care items, laundry detergent, TP etc which we expected per the listing. Owners pay attention to detail. Will book again.

I have stayed at the Apollo several times. I always enjoy the condos there. This condo was probably the most well maintained of the condos I have rented. Owners were very prompt in answering my questions. Very courteous. Would love to rent from them again.

I really enjoyed my stay. The condo was one of the nicest units that I have rented. I come to Marco Island on business, and have rented units at the Apollo before. The owners are gracious and very responsive to questions. I highly recommend this unit. I will be pleased to rent from them again.

Great Location and Comfortable Condo

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Marco Beach in the Apollo condo. The complex parking was convenient and the receptionist were friendly and helpful. The location was very nice with a beautiful view and easy access to the beach. The condo decor and kitchen were a little dated, but overall very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the dolphins, pelicans, sunsets and ocean. We will definitely consider this condo again for future visits.

Excellent vacation!

It was very clean and convienent. The view of the ocean is breath taking. Snorkled every morning and happen to have four wild dolphins swim by me, awesome! Many restaurants with excellent food and little stores near by to do a little shopping. Definitely the best place to just relax and enjoy life! No complaints at all, just good living! We will definitely be going back!

Back at the Apollo

Everything was excellent at the 10th FL Condo, all the amenities were as described. The unit was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. Despite the heatwave outside the AC kept us very comfortable. The deck afforded great views of the gulf and beach. Although Marco Island is famous for its beautiful sunsets, it was the spectacular cloud formations that got my attention. We will certainly stay there again.

Gorgeous Sunsets

The location is perfect! The condo has everything you need and is in a perfect location. From beach visits to pool visits...perfect!! Having the restaurant on site is the icing on the cake. A little updating on furniture would take it up a notch, but does not take away from the experience. Would stay there again in an instant. The owners were responsive to any questions. I ask a lot of questions😆򑠮
