The Ponent beach (500 m, 6-minute walk), along the promenade Miramar, is a sandy coast, gently sloping, ideal for children. Shallow waters and crystal, it is a quiet beach and very popular with locals. There are bars, restaurants, children's games, and entertainment.

A series of promenades and boardwalks can be reached on foot along the beaches and creeks to Cap Salou located approximately 3000 m

Railway station, medium and high speed, at 600 m (7 min walk)

The train takes 4 minutes to Port Aventura, 12 min to Tarragona, 1 hr 10 min to Barcelona, 1h 20 min at Valencia. You can transfer to Reus in Tarragona.

The Costa Dorada is one of the best places for sailing, fishing, golf, pitch & putt, biking, hiking, spa, can be practiced easily.

L'Hospitalet de l'Infant, Cambrils, Ampolla, have excellent marinas and ports.

To point out some pleasant day trips close to the village, including some landscaped views. Also a romantic landscaped footpath, respecting nature and original geography, through many beaches and creeks.

Notice the nature reserve of the Ebro Delta that showcases the entire ecosystem preserved with some landscaped views. The Olles, among other shortcomings, seems to be one of the oldest in the estuaries of the Ebro, currently houses a large population of nesting birds such as flamingos, wild ducks, herons, kingfishers and night, and black -stilts.

This tour can be done on foot or bike and you can enjoy a very popular landscape in terms of number of migratory birds that inhabit the area.

About Débora Solanas

I was born in Barcelona, ​​where I did my studies, professional and family life. From being a child, I spend my summer holidays in L'Ampolla (25 km from Salou). The memories of my childhood there, are very happy. Now the fourth generation of the whole family meets there every summer. Sun, beach, sea, sailing, fishing, cycling, gastronomy are some main reasons that make the Costa Dorada, a privileged environment.

The apartment was bought thinking that it will be our summer home in the future. It is ideal to be with family and children at the seaside. You can find the best beaches there. It is not crowded even in August, with crystal clear waters. There is also a communal pool, and garden. The apartment has very good view of the terrace and private solarium.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment was bought thinking that at some time in our lives, will be with us. It is on the corner street Vicens Vives-Via Aurelia with Barenys street outside a sports area. Salou, in addition to the natural wealth of Ampolla has other attractions like the theme park Port Aventura, ideal for visiting with family and children. Family life and the nightlife of Salou coexist. You can find a quiet cove and nightlife.

We stayed at this apartment for the first time in October 2017' The apartment is very spacious and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The apartment is in a quiet location but only a short walk to local shops and the beach. Would stay here again when next visiting salou.

Owner's Response: We greatly appreciate your stay and opinion. We also like this climate even more out of the peak season. We also like open air sports and a kitchen based on natural products. We chosed this apartment for us to live comfortably in a peaceful area, close to the sea and many public services, amusements, good communication with Barcelona. We wish you to know more on the country in future opportunities: wineyards, natural products, history. We really like being able to communicate what we know about this country. So you have earned some friends in Barcelona and Costa Daurada.

Fantastic apartment in a great location

The owners are lovely and helpful.

The apartment views are outstanding. You can see PortAventura from the balcony. Towels and lining supplied.

Washing machine in good working order like all amenities. Spar and Lidl in walking distance. Nice warm rolls in the morning. You can see the trains passing often which is nice to see. The station is not far. About a 5 minute walk. Taxi from Reus was €30. Standard.

Walk to beach was around 5 to 10 minute walk. We did go in the pool much as it was a bit cold.

If you like a quiet location and don't mind walking to main area this is a fantastic apartment. Definitely recommend it.

Perfect vacation home for a family!

The description of the the facilities at the Homeaway site was accurate, and no problems to find the way to the location.

The flat was well maintained and cleaned and had nice bedrooms, bathrooms and a big balcony that we used a lot, there was enough furniture and the kitchen was easy to work in. It was also very nice that it was situated on the upper floor, including a Solarium on top where we had a nice view of the surroundings. We would definitely recommend this flat for families that enjoy sun & bath, golf and also like to visit the Aventura Park with numerous roller coasters!

Great Semana Santa in Salou

We enjoyed our stay in Salou very much. The apartment is in a newer part of Salou, a good walk to the center, but very close to the beach. We liked being in a calmer part of town. The apartment was clean and nice, with a nice view and sun all day.

Debora was very helpful and met all of our needs. We would definitely recommend the apartment!

Un logement qui correspond parfaitement à tous les critères de l'annonce, un accueil chaleureux et une parfaire disponibilité.

Nous avons passé un super et agréable séjour, nous avons apprécié le calme dans la résidence et du quartier, la proximité de la plage, des restos, l'espace de l'appart et de sa belle terrasse ainsi qu'un équipement complet.
