This cozy chalet is nested in a wooded area, with a stream right out back. A great location for lovers of nature and the outdoors. Great hiking nearly and the chalet is short distance from the best skiing in north central Vermont, Smuggler's Notch.
It is newly renovated and has a well equipped kitchen as well as an outdoor grill. It has one double bed and two single bed (trundle deb), clean linen and towels are provided.
The village of Jeffersonville is approx. 5 miles away and it offers restaurants, grocery shopping and other conveniences. In summer, when the 108 South Route is open through the notch, Stowe is accessible through a picturesque route.
Great little cabin. Really comfortable bed, lots of towels. Kitchen has everything u need. Outside is a mountain stream. I would definitely stay here again
My husband and I had a very relaxing weekend stay at the chalet. We had dinner our first night on the porch, listening to the stream out back. We spent most of our time away from the house, canoeing and dining, but when we were there enjoyed the peace and quiet it offered. We would definitely rent this place again.
Very cute and nice chalet. It is in a quiet remote area, but still not far from lots of activities. The kitchen was well-equipped and we felt very comfortable. The babbling brook behind the cabin is a very pleasant feature. You can hear it from the chalet and the scenery down by the creek is quite pretty.
We had the absolute best time staying at this cabin over the 4th of July long weekend! My fiance, our dog and I settled right in and the cabin had everything we could have possibly needed! The location is great, especially in the summer when the road through the Notch is open you can be in Stowe in about 10-15 minutes and there is so much great hiking including the Long Trail right there! We hiked to Sterling Pond which was a really nice half-day hike and our dog loved it! The cabin is walking distance from the entrance to Smuggs and the Smuggs village which seems to have a lot going on in the summer time! They also have a nice little general store right at Smuggs Village and a small coffee shop which are both walking distance from the cabin. We trekked to Burlington for the fireworks on Sunday night and all in all had an amazing weekend. I am sure that we will be back in the future in the winter and the summer hopefully!
Lovely location in the woods, near a stream, very quiet and serene, but also an easy drive to town. The chalet is charming inside, very comfortable and cozy. We had a delightful stay.
