A stone’s throw away from the Casino of Paris, the house is located in a quiet street in a lively neighbourhood with many shops, cafes, restaurants, theatres, cinemas, and so on. It is bathed in sunlight, on the 4th floor with a lift, and equipped with a walk-in shower and a kitchenette. All of the bedding was replaced in September 2014. The apartment is equipped with Wi-Fi, a flat screen television, and a Hi-Fi system. The nearest metro station (Liège) is 3 min away on foot, the Champs Élysées is 3 stations away. The apartment is 15 minutes away from department stores and from Montmartre. There is a possibility of parking your car in a garage not too far, at affordable rates.

Why Simon chose 9th Opera

Located next to Clichy Square and the Moulin Rouge, between the Opera and Montmartre, the apartment is spacious in a luxury Haussmann-type building with a lift. It was entirely renovated in 2013.

The apartment, composed of two separate bedrooms, a separate living room, and a dining room, can accommodate up to 6 people. The friendly owner, who occasionally rents out his main residence, will welcome you with the greatest care! (Posted on 18/04/2014)

Fantastic apartment and location

This apartment was perfectly suited to our needs, three adults and a 5 year old child. Simon was very courteous and responsive throughout the process. The street is quiet (except for some restaurant chatter in the evenings) and the bedrooms are facing the courtyard.

The weather was nice when we arrived so we were able to walk with luggage from the RoissyBus stop at the Opera. Metro stations are nearby, as well as many shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed the bakery at the corner every day, and bought most of our groceries less than 1 block away. We would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity, and have recommended it to friends that will be visiting Paris.

Lovely apartment in great location.

We are a family of 5 that stayed in this lovely apartment on two different occasions. The apartment is in a very central location, within walking distance to many points of interest, metro, bus lines, etc. Despite its central location, it is situated on a very quiet dead-end street with an amazing patisserie on the corner and a well-stocked grocery store just down the street.

The apartment was perfect for our family -- really comfortable, nice for the kids to relax in when needed, lots of fresh air and light. Having an elevator was also really helpful.

Simon, the owner, was also really quick to respond to emails and very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this rental!

Would stay again! Roomy apartment on a quiet Paris street.

Quiet street with great ventilation -- lots of windows. Fast and convenient wifi. Bakery and food market nearby at the end of the street. 4 flights up in a older but pretty, secure building. 1-2 person lift to handle luggage. Small kitchen had all the necessities. Metro stops were closeby. Foam mattress was very comfy! Shower was roomy and being separated from toilet was good--like having two bathrooms. Simon, the owner was very helpful and accessible. Two new fans with extension cords are probably needed for the unusually hot evenings.

Our family of 4 would stay again.

Exactly as described. Seems even more spacious than I expected.

We had a great stay. Convenient for "living the Paris neighborhood " life. A little noisy on the weekend. We used the bakery, the supermarche, the metro, etc. Thanks Simon and Stephania for a wonderful time.

Wonderful flat in 9th Arr.

We loved staying in Simon's flat. It's on the 4th floor of a building that's on a quiet cul de sac a few blocks below the Place de Clichy. There is a small lift, but the stairs are a nicer way to go, if you can. There is a great boulangerie on the corner along with a good bistro, a nice market opposite the boulangerie, an excellent pizza place that Simon recommended a block away, and lots of eateries around the Place de Clichy. Two Metro stops are in easy walking distance, and a bus toward the downtown is a block away. Because the 9th is not as popular as other sections of the city, we felt like we were staying amongst Parisians rather than masses of tourists. We were there at the beginning of high season in early July, and while we heard lots of different accents in the more touristy areas, we heard only French in our neighborhood, which we loved.

The flat itself was perfect for us (two adults and two college-age boys). There were two good-sized bedrooms, a large dining area, and a nice lounge - we were able to enjoy Euro 2016 and the Tour de France on the flat screen TV. Small but very functional kitchen. And throughout were large windows with ingenious fasteners that could be set to allow a nice breeze to flow through the flat. It was very comfortable, and it gave us a nice feel of the city.

Simon was a great host. We didn't meet, but communication with him was very easy and quick. We got to town later than we'd expected, but he left detailed instructions for getting in, and he was very responsive to our questions. He was also very friendly, spoke good English, and was patient with my attempts to communication in French.

I recommend Simon's flat as a great place to stay in this marvelous city. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again in the future.

Great location very quiet and easy to get around.

Close to all amenities - transport, supermarket, shopping. Good size apartment. Has everything you need. Perfect for our family of 2 adults, 2 adult children. Easy to deal with host and available if we had questions

Metro (3 lines) and bus (5) nearby, three stops away by metro from the Champs Élysées and the Opera. There is a very good bakery down the street. Visit the Lepic market (about an 8-min walk), where the film “Amélie Poulin” was shot (a must-see), then continue to climb to the Place du Tertre (top of Montmartre). For shopping, department stores (Opéra-St Lazare) are a 10 to 15-min walk away.
