House, 5 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 14)
We moved to the Atlanta area from San Francisco in the early 2000s and quickly realized that we missed the water activities that we had enjoyed in the Bay Area. In addition, I spent my summers while growing up going to a family lake house and was very active in all things water related such as water skiing, wake boarding, fishing, etc. Therefore, given the land-locked nature of Atlanta it was a natural that we began hunting for a lake house.
Owner purchased this House in 2005
Why Owner chose Seneca
We purchased this property because we really like the "big water" views and being on a quiet point lot at the end of a cul de sac. In addition, the proximity to Clemson was a very positive benefit!
What makes this House unique
House is situated very close to Clemson University (10 minutes by car or boat) to easily enjoy all that the university has to offer, yet far enough away to be a private oasis!

PERFECT home to share family time!
This house was exceptional. Better than expected and wonderful in so many ways. It was close to Clemson as we were there for a football game. It was spacious for our large family of 8 adults and five children. It was cozy and warm, with lots of comfortable seating. It provided every possible accessory from towels and washcloths to pots and pans ... but most importantly it allowed our family to share some wonderful quality time together in a large accommodating living space. We will be back! Its the only house we want to stay in each time we travel up from Florida!
The property was beautiful, spacious and comfortable with multiple seating and gathering areas for a large group. It had everything we needed and then some. The natural setting and dock on the lake made it even more special. Highly recommend.
Thanks Pam - I'm glad that your group had such a good time and we look forward to hosting you again in the future!
Very Nice Place - Great Time
We had a small group in town for a Clemson football game and lake day after. The property is very well kept and met our every need for comfort and socializing. But even better, the location really sets it apart. Besides being a beautiful spot on the lake, the dock itself is high quality and the boating we did (we rented) was a ton of fun. Great views of the Clemson campus are only a 5 minute boat ride away, and heading south are huge open areas of water to ski/tube, or just ride around. The lake is very very nice. Finally, the owners were readily available to help if needed, and were very easy to deal with. We didn't actually need them for anything though, everything was exactly as advertised. Our group would definitely recommend this property. First class!
Lovely home with stunning viewa
We had a fantastic weekend in this beautiful home. 5 moms spent the weekend with their 5 Tiger boys (+2 siblings) moving them into their new home. The house was warm and comfortable and equipped with everything we could think of. I highly recommend this lovely home. The only thing that would have made it a bit more comfortable would be an extra bathroom as there is only one bathroom upstairs.
Spacious and comfortable home, we enjoyed the nice size deck and the dock was a great hangout!
We enjoyed our family time at this property. The two dining areas was very accommodating at mealtime. We were able to spread out and not be on top of each other in the house. Our granddaughters had a blast fishing and both girls caught a small fish. We rented a pontoon from Clemson Marina...huge hit with everyone. Although we missed our beach trip, the lake was refreshing and we would definitely consider renting this property again.
Lake Hartwell family vacation
We loved loved loved this property! It was perfect for our family. The lake access worked out wonderfully for us and the children. My husband brought his boat . It was nice to be able to dock it right at the property.
The house was very well equipped.
We will definitely put it on the top of our list for a return vacation!
Enjoy many water activities off of the secluded deep water cove including boating, sailing, waterskiing, canoeing, and fishing. Very close to several golf courses and walking trails. Entertainment is easily accessible in Clemson (10 minutes to campus) and Anderson (20 minutes).
