Vielen Dank Andrea ..

We stayed in this beautiful Villa for a week during our summer holiday.
This place is perfect if you are looking to share with friends/family, giving plenty of space without compromising on privacy ( this Villa is divided into 2 apartments so would be perfect for family wanting to travel with grandparents for example)
We stayed with friends & having small children we loved this place because its totally safe ( the Villa is gated & has a private pool)
The owners Andrea & Eleonora were delightful & so so helpful
I have a little 9 months old boy & i was so pleased to find here all the commodites i have at home. Cot, highchair, stairgates & they even left toys :))
It was honestly a home from home
The owners take real pride in this Villa & its shows in the way its kept. Clean, tidy... There are also lots of bikes if you fancy a morning cicle to the local Rosticcieria :))
Add to all these the fact that is in a quiet location very close to some of the most amazing places in Sicily, this Villa ticks all the boxes ✅👍
We are a family of five and enjoyed our two weeks stay. We hired the ground floor which is well equipped, comfortable and in very good shape. Also, we didn't need to use fans because it was never too hot inside even when we got 35C outside. The swimming pool is a big plus especially when you have kids. The good thing is that it has steps which is important if your kids can not swim. The location is perfect if you want to visit Noto, Siracusa, Ortigia which are close by as well as some of the wonderful beaches and small villages on the coast on the way to Capo Passero.
Last but not least Andrea (the owner) is very helpful and does the utmost to make you feel like home without being intrusive. I warmly recommend this house.
merci a Andréa
Syracuse is one of the most beautiful cities in Sicily for its history, art but also for its enviable panoramic position and its traditions. Sometimes when you have little time, it's hard to choose what to do by visiting a city and what to leave out. Here are some tips on things not to miss in Syracuse:
1) Neapolis Archaeological Park
a visit to the archaeological remains of Syracuse can not miss in the program of the visitors. The most important archaeological site of the city is the park of Neapolis which also contains the greek theater, the Roman amphitheater, the altar of Hieron, the quarries and the Ear of Dionysius.
2) Walking the historic center of Ortigia
Ortigia is the historical center of Syracuse. Its uniqueness is that it is entirely on an island. Stroll through its narrow streets ancient and then rise in the majestic Piazza Duomo, with its church built on a greek temple, or walk along the beautiful coastal road from the legendary Fountain of Arethusa, with its papyrus, is an experience not to be missed .
3) Catacombs of St. John
The catacombs of Syracuse, after those of Rome, are the most extensive in Italy. A good reason to delve into these long tunnels and reach the place where according to tradition, St. Paul preached to the Syracusans.
Syracuse, with its two ports and the city center located on an island is a seaside town par excellence. How not to enjoy fresh fish cooked in one of the many restaurants in the old town?
and much more .....
