Guests are staying on the 3rd floor of an owner occupied home. Owners would prefer limited interaction but are here to help with any issues for the functioning of the apartment. Owners children will be playing in the backyard and would like guests to respect the entrance and exit from the apartment and leave the owners privacy in their yard. Owners have a large dog named Reggie. He is super friendly and only barks when there is a concern. He is in the owners backyard on occasion and guests need to keep their gate closed to the backyard.
Local Paper on the corner of 23rd and Mapleton. Walk to many restaurants, Pearl Street, Whole Foods and bus routes.
Yes- A bus system map is provided in the apartment.
We have 3 little kids and we try very hard to keep the noise down but kids can be noisy. We realize our guests are on vacation and want to have fun! We just ask for respect on noise levels and quiet hours of the night.
Cute place. Clean, quiet and comfortable
Enjoyed the stay and accommodations were as advertised. Very comfortable, private and in a nice residential area near Pearl St. The owners were nice and did not bother us and hopefully we did not cause any problems.
Yes there are stairs but we are in our mid 60's and had no problem. If you need to do heavy cooking the kitchen may not be what you need but for our 3 days we coked breakfast and baked a pizza- it was perfect. Very clean and comfortable for the two of us. And being up in the top of the house was private.
The dog is big but sweet. His name is Reggie and would usually come up to the gate when we entered and left for a pet. We like dogs.
Easy and safe parking right on the street in front of the house.
We were there the week before Halloween and the house and others in the area were decorated for Halloween. Also it was late fall and the trees had turned color and the area was very picturesque. I
wonderful! The apartment located on a very quiet street, with plenty of parking, a 5 minute walk from the heart of Pearl Street. The apartment was very clean, plenty of space, good for simple cooking. Jen and Will were very helpful if you needed them otherwise they left you on your own (very nice!). We look forward to a return visit!
The apartment was a terrific way to have a taste of local life when visiting Boulder. I loved being able to get up the in mornings and walk through the neighborhood to a hip coffee shop. The apartment has everything you need for a long stay. I wouldn't advise the apartment for tall people or those who don't/can't go up a lot of stairs. Once you get to the apartment, there is a beautiful view of the Flatirons and tree tops. The host family is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here.
This was a wonderful place to stay while in Boulder visiting my daughter. It is within walking distance to Pearl Street and Convenience Stores. It actually wound up being within walking distance to my daughter's apartment which was a nice surprise! Jen and Will were both very nice and made sure that I knew they were available if I needed anything. Being a female traveling alone, I felt very safe staying here alone. It is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood which gives it more of a "homey" feeling. I loved the view from the 3rd story windows. The squirrel who hangs out just outside the kitchenette window was a fun bonus. It was very nice to find restaurants that offered gluten free menus, we had breakfast at Snooze twice which was very good and Sforno Trattoria served the best gluten free pasta I have had in years.
