On the 2nd floor, enjoy a brand new kitchen with all new appliances, dining area, living room, and a full bathroom with the convenience of a washer and dryer. On the 3rd floor, you will find two bedrooms with skylights for optimal lake view, and a half bath.
Pull right into the driveway and in front of your door... if you choose to drive. The luxury of this downtown Meredith home is that it has everything you would need within walking distance, and for the views you need not leave the house! Relax on the front porch, or have a BBQ on the front lawn. Across the bay, visit a marina and rent a jet ski or boat. Or, visit a luxury spa for the day. Come see all the picturesque town of Meredith has to offer!
As a lifelong resident of Meredith, I know there is nothing quite like a relaxing, adventurous, and scenic day spend on Lake Winnipesaukee! Whether you are looking to spend a day on the water, at the spa, or even on the nearby slopes, this is the perfect place to be!
Stephanie Corts purchased this apartment in 2014
We purchased the home from my Great-Grandparents, who had previously lived here since the 1950's. In the past year, we have done a complete remodel: new electrical, windows, plumbing, flooring, kitchen, etc. Everything in the house is brand new! We are currently living on the first floor of the home, and the vacation rental apartment consists of the 2nd and 3rd floors. The views from the apartment are absolutely amazing!
My family and I stayed here for my daughter's wedding and it could not have been better. The apartment is spacious, clean, and has a great view of the lake and downtown Meredith. We couldn't have asked for a better place.
Meredith is a beautiful little town. We thoroughly enjoyed this location for some rest and relaxation after spending the day skiing. The property had all the space that we needed along with beautiful amenities. Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend time with family! We will be sure to keep it in mind for our next ski trip :)
The apartment is located in the beautiful town of Meredith, NH right across Lake Winnipesaukee. It is clean and very well kept. It is close to major grocery stores and many food places. The apartment has great view of the Lake and mountains behind it. Alex and Stephanie made sure we had everything we needed for this stay, and even fulfilled some of the requests we had. They are great hosts. We hope to come back again.
We decided to take a quick trip to Ski Gunstock and Loon Mountain and wanted to stay near the lake. The location was perfect, fifteen minutes from Gunstock and less than one hour to Loon. The newly renovated apartment was a perfect setup. It was exactly as advertised and certainly better than cramming into a hotel room. We will be back for another visit!
We had a great stay at this property. Stephanie and Alex were responsive and friendly throughout. The location is great--right across the street from the lake. The inside of the property is beautiful. Everything looks new and clean. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely love to stay here again.
We're touring from the UK, and booked this accommodation at the last minute as we heard the autumn colours were at their peak here. We were not disappointed in either the apartment or the amazing vibrant display of colours in the area. Stephanie was helpful and welcoming.
The apartment is excellent, spacious, clean and modern, and the kitchen is very well equipped. It has views over the lake and the hills. There is a supermarket very nearby, and the old historic part of town is a few minutes pleasant walk along the shoreline. Only one thing we would mention - the road is busy and noisy in the morning. The bedrooms are in the roof and not well sound insulated. If you're in the front bedroom in particular and are a light sleeper, I would recommend earplugs. I always travel with them and they work very well! I also used an airline eye mask, as the blinds let a huge amount of light in when it's sunny. My husband slept through it all as usual!
We drove out around the area and had some amazing leaf-peeping in brilliant sunshine. The short 'hike' up the West Rattlesnake mountain trail is worth it for the stunning views at the top. And the little town of Wolfeboro is well worth a visit, for a lovely walk along an old railroad, and the best coffee shop (7 Suns) in New England!
We had a brilliant stay here, and would happily return.
