Gulf Gate is one of the largest, most established communities near the south bridge to famous Siesta Key Beach. We loved this house's location from the moment we found it, with it's circular drive-thru carport, the sanctuary of its private and serene backyard, the open layout of the living space, and it's perfect location -- a short walk to the newly renovated public library, the community golf course, loads of neighborhood restaurants and shopping, and...of course, it's proximity to America's #1 beach.
The home is in a quiet, comfortable location. Very spacious and contains every amenity a family might need Our hosts were professional and their SPIRITS shone through in every corner of the house. You are blessed if you get the opportunity to stay here. Close to great restaurants, groceries and of course some of the finest beaches the country has to offer. This house exceeded my expectations. The layout inside was perfect for my family of four. We were close to the beach and I liked staying off the island. It was much easier to enjoy the Sarasota amenities.
We had a wonderful stay at Siesta Seagate. The cottage is immaculate, charming and very well appointed. The location is very quiet and comfortable with convenient access to stores and restaurants as well as in close driving proximity of all the wonderful things Sarasota has to offer. We loved sitting outside at night in the wonderful screened in area. Lisa, our host, was available at all times and made us feel most welcome! I would definitely recommend staying at Siesta Seagate!
Loved it! So cute and charming with that wide open feel. We enjoyed sitting outside in the screen room under the umbrella in the pouring rain (such a treat coming from dry dry dry California) Very comfortable and immaculate. Thank you for hosting us on such short notice!
We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was clean, spacious, comfortable, and so close to the beach. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
Absolutely wonderful experience! The owners were very friendly and answered emails promptly. They were patient with all my questions and allowed me an early check-in and a late check-out,no questions, or problems. they were completely accommodating! House was exactly as described but even cuter and nicer in person! Looks newly renovated with great, easy to clean floors, granite counters, etc. They had extra bedding and towels and paper products and cleaning supplies and detergent and ziplocks and garbage bags and foil and saran wrap, and s&p and other spices... everything you could possibly need! House was well-equipped and even had a high end Wolf gas range! Not to mention all the outside areas that were landscaped so beautifully, fenced for privacy and included an outside walk-in shower and a hot tub! It was very private and quiet, the corner house in the street. And location, location, location! Grocery stores, shops and more all within walking distance and near the Siesta Key bridge! Can travel north to St Petersburg, or south to Venice Beach and beyond with quick access to interstates... I couldn't say enough about this adorable little house! Loved it! Will try to come back soon!
Road bikes to the beach, played cards on the lanai, soaked in the hot tub, and grilled out back in this little tropical oasis. Loved the outdoor shower with hot water and the convenience of close by shopping and golf. Will definite stay here again!

CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations are subject to a $150 cancellation fee. Cancellations made 60 days or less from rental check-in date are subject to forfeiture of full rent payment. In the event of a long-term rental, should the property be re-rented for the entire period, the advanced rent payment less the cancellation fee, will be refunded.
PRIMARY HOUSE RULES (contact owner for copy of full rental agreement):
a. NO PETS of any kind are permitted, with the exception of small dogs with prior approval by owner in writing and with payment of a supplemental additional pet fee at least 30 days in advance of check-in.
b. SMOKING is NOT permitted in the property. An additional $250 deodorizing fee will be charged for smoking in this property.
c. Commercial/Recreational vehicles, motorcycles, trailers, boats, and campers are prohibited.
d. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult in pool/hot tub.
e. Trash must be separated and placed in proper bins according to County recycling requirements.
f. Laundry may not be hung on patio, balcony, or outside, with the exception of the outdoor shower area.
g. Barbecue may only be used on cement patio area.
h. Cover must remain on pool/hot tub at all times when not in use. Guests must rinse/shower before using the pool/hot tub. Any damage as a result of debris in the pool/hot tub is the responsibility of guest.
i. Only guests pre-registered through initial booking to occupy the property are permitted to stay overnight.
