Many paths leave the cottage and allow nice walks in the morning. It is not uncommon to see deer, hares coming to feed in the fields.
An uncrowded road takes you along the torrent and towards many day walks or bike rides for athletes.
The house has two shaded patios where you can have lunch or dinner admiring the landscape or the starry nights.
It is well insulated with natural materials (sheep wool, cork lime wash ...). You will be protected from heat that characterizes the Provencal summers.
You will also be able to sunbathe in spring and summer on one of the south-facing terraces.
From the house you can discover the hills of Provence.
Many bike routes are at your disposal, fans of mountain biking or cycling, will find circuits, tracks, trails, at your convenience.
Art Refuge: The Art Refuge is the world's largest collection of works by Andy Goldsworthy created in the heart of preserved sites of Digne-les-Bains and geological reserve of Haute Provence.
Andy Goldsworthy is a landscape designer, an artist who rearranges nature, before abandoning his work. Eventually, ten works will be made in different sites of Dignois Country, accessible only by walking.
Currently five Sanctuaries art were created which already form alone a single route, surrounded by nature.
The march is part of Project Refuge Art. A stream against the current trend is to "consume" amateur hundreds of works of art in record time, then it is to walk all day to discover a unique work!
The total journey requiring ten days of walking, it can be done with the help of a mountain guide.
House of Alexandra David Neel: The cultural center Alexandra David-Neel, grouping the Alexandra David-Neel Museum, Child Sponsorship Association refugees in India and the Tibetan shop was established July 31, 1977, after the death the famous explorer who lived in Digne about thirty years, three stays.

Archeological Crypt: A major site in Europe ...
Open to the public since July 1, 2010, the archaeological crypt disclose fabulous discoveries from three successive campaigns of excavations conducted by Professor Gabrielle Démians d'Archimbaud. Now the town of Digne-les-Bains knows the exact location of its origins revealed by the presence of the ancient walls of the first century AD of an urban space and the installation of three Christian religious buildings from the fifth century the eleventh century. All close and under the present cathedral of Notre Dame du Bourg whose restoration was carried out by the chief architect Francesco Flavigny. Thirty years of work and research were needed to consolidate the building of the thirteenth century and the realization of this site museum occupying 870 square meters. A titanic work great result.
