WHAT MAKES FERME DU GRAND ESSERT SO SPECIAL? Totally refurbished for summer 2013, these 2 apartments offer traditional Savoyard style with a luxurious finish. It sleeps 6 adults and 1 child in 4 en suite bedrooms (all with televisions)set over 2 floors. The living room is set under the eaves offering stunning mountain views from the balcony. The sauna is on the 1st floor, and the jacuzzi in the garden, and in the winter, a fire is lit in the conservatory every evening - it’s a great place to relax over a drink. In the summer, the heated pool is available in the large sunny garden.
Before we moved to Entremont, I used to run a B&B in Burgundy (“L’ange Souriant” in the village of Flavigny sur Ozerain). When we were looking for our home in the Alps, I wanted something pretty, upmarket, chic and close to the airport. The villages of Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz ticked all the boxes, and when we discovered our beautiful farmhouse in 2011, we bought it straight away.

We live here in our very private paradise all year round, enjoying all the seasons. Nestled in the heart of the Aravis mountains, we’re just 40 minutes from Geneva, and a few minutes away from the telecabines of Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz. Fly in in the morning and you can be skiing by 11am!
Our listed Savoyard farmhouse is one of the most important old buildings in the local area. The stone in the kitchen dates from the 15th century, and the village of Entremont has a fascinating history dating back to 1154.
We will provide you with something very special and personal. We try to keep standards high, offering a quality service. We are very keen on French cooking and good wine, and hope to demonstrate this at our “table d'hôtes”. Together with my son Martin and husband Bruno, I would love to welcome you at the farmhouse so that you can discover this beautiful location and accommodation for yourselves.
