Why Alejandro chose Begur
This lovely stone house has belonged to the family, and is a retreat to relax and enjoy the beaches of the Costa Brava and the atmosphere of the village of Begur. A haven of peace in the center of the bustling town, with a unique charm, stone house, built in 1875 but completely renovated without losing the essence of an old house. A charm that can not resist.

What a beautiful stay and an amazing location. Perfect for exploring and a great hideaway
What a magnificent stay we had as a family of 6 in September, We had no idea how perfect the location would be when we booked it. We walked into the village center within 3 minutes and could drive to the beach and be parked within 10 minutes. The village/town has so many wonderful places to eat and drink and the atmosphere was outstanding. There were many festivals on in the week we arrived and that was a wonderful surprise. The cottage or castle house as we called it had everything we needed. The outside space was secluded and peaceful and we didn't mind the church bells in the day. We will definitely visit again. Thank you.
I am very glad that you have enjoyed and knis the Costa Brava ;)
Thank you and best regards.
Wonderful characterful property. Parking an issue and bedroom fans needed when temp exceed 30 deg
A wonderful location and beautiful charming house in Begur on a quiet historical street. I will definitely return if there are fans in the upstairs bedrooms.
Thank you very much for your comment, that week was very very hot but the house is usually fresh . I'will bring fans for next year ;). Best regards.
Delightful house in a good position for all the amenities. Parking not easy during festival.
This was our first visit to Begur which we all loved! The 3 days Indian Festival was fabulous and a big surprise as we did not know anything about it. The house needs a deep clean and the lack of wardrobe and drawers in the downstairs double bedroom was difficult. Both bathrooms need attention. English people drink lots of tea so a kettle would be useful. The house is in a good position, very close to all the lovely restaurants and shops. The surrounding villages were lovely and we enjoyed a fabulous meal at Candelaria in Peratallada. We will return to this wonderful coast very soon.
Thank Shirley you very much for your comments, I will have them very present. I'm so glad you liked the coast end enjoyed the Festival.
Cool and characterful house on stepped street in beautiful Begur
A fantastic location on a pedestrian street close to the lively central square makes this tranquil house with a pretty garden a great place from which to explore Begur and its delightful nearby coves.
Shady woodland trails lead (downhill all the way!) to three or four marvellous swimming spots on the coast, many with a great choice of bars and restaurants. There are plentiful shuttle buses back up the hill in season.
Thanks so much for your comment. I'm happy that you have liked and enjoyed!
Go back in time when staying at this charming house
It is a beautiful, old house in an excellent location. The main square in Begur with the church, bakery and restaurants is just down the street, but it is quiet at the house and we slept with the windows open every night. It is also an easy ten minute walk from the house up to Begur castle. The house had everything we needed and we bought groceries and had breakfast and lunch at the house everyday. It was a quick drive from the house to any number of stunning beaches. Overall, our stay was very comfortable.
I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay and have a good time on the Costa Brava. Thank you so much and regards.
Charming historic house in fantastic location.
Had a wonderful stay in beautiful Begur. The house is like an old fishermans cottage but in the centre of town. Lots of historic original features with charm and style. Bedrooms are all good sizes with 2 bathrooms. Decent sized outside space. Garden soft furnishings could do with replacing with the garden tidied up.
The house is moments from the restaurants and shops but in a quiet pedestrian street. Parking is a couple of minutes walk away as is the castle.
Begur has lots of fantastic walking trails to beaches and along the coast. Great holiday.
Good access, close to all amenities.
Near the best beaches on the Costa Brava, Aiguablava, Sa Tuna, Sa Riera, Aiguafreda, the Platja del Raco ...
Good restaurants, trendy shops.
