Located at the foot of Albères (mountains), this house facing south, facing the garrigue, the vineyards renowned Collioure and Fort St. Elmo. Its location is very private because the house is a haven of peace, while being 250m from the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea. Modern style, all rooms are bright and open on a garden with Mediterranean plants. The large terrace and garden provide lunch in the shade of a pergola covered with wisteria and offer sunbathing.

Ideal for those who enjoy the pleasures of the sea and the mountains (hiking).

Lovely postion in a gorious town - good garden - pricey for what you get

We booked this as a "luxury" break in a well-known town. It was peak season ( "super peak" is August) yet the villa was quiet and easy to reach. good parking outside. Perfect in terms of position and calm. The garden with a nice terrace looks like the picture as does that magnificent view of the castle.

But, in detail, disappointing, when you take the price into account.

The house is in need of investment and you are greeting by rusty painted grills.

The kitchen is very thin and had no working space at all (as we left they were adding a little). Very hard to prepare meals for 2 let alone a family. Kitchen equipment is basically cast offs from elsewhere, much mismatched and none of quality.

The advertised AirCon was in fact limited to the main lounge and in the hot days we enjoyed, the bedrooms were stifling.

The main bedroom is pretty but has no storage at all. Others had a mixture of old furniture but were very dated. One bathroom is also in the dark early 70's style, while the basement shower room is modern and a model to what we had hoped for in the rest of the house.

Also beware the €1000 deposit which is much larger that others here - to be fair it was refunded quickly.

It could be stupendous but it needs a bit of love and attention from the rent money.... If you want a large house in a great spot and the price works for you then you may overlook the above....

Lovely house in a superb location

Lovely house and a beautiful garden. Friendly reception when we arrived and a minor problem was dealt with promptly and efficiently. The description of the property and location was accurate. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. Would definitely recommend this property to other people and we hope to return to it ourselves at some time.

Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve, malgré une météo maussade... c'est dire à quel point la maison est agréable !! Un endroit magique, dedans comme dehors, à 5mn à pied du port tout en étant très au calme, un jardin magnifique, réveil avec vue sur le fort St Elme... Bref, nous recommandons absolument. zur Burg, Garten eingezäunt + hohe Hecken gegen Einblicke

geschützt. 5 Minuten zur Strandpromenade, im Dorf alles verfügbar.
