Lovely property on a quiet street in the 7th Arr. on the edge of the 6th Arr. Agnes was there to meet, at the appointed time, to give me the keys and to show me how everything works.
Very quiet and secure. Neighborhood great. Walking distance to the Orsay, the Cluny, the maillol, the Luxembourg, and a bridge away from the Tuileries and the louvre. Great restaurants, among them the iconic Deux Magots, Leon’s for mussels, and one of the best Japanese restaurants in Paris, Yen. In my seventies, I did have trouble on the last short stretch. Of stairs after the elevator.
This studio apartment was perfect for my partner and me. We had everything we needed for a full week's stay and were able to cook dinner in the kitchenette each night. The apartment is cute and very clean. Agnes was a wonderful host. She accommodated our needs along with our schedule and was quick to reply to any questions we had. As for the location, it's a 5-10 minute walk to find food and it's right in the middle of a high-end shopping district. Compared to other places I've stayed in Paris, the streets are very quiet and it was easy to sleep with the windows open. Overall, this studio is perfect for two people and the location is amazing! And the elevator is an awesome bonus that shouldn't be overlooked. We would absolutely come back here to stay again.
Great location in Saint-Germain-des-Près. Close to a few metro lines, restaurants, and shopping areas. Felt very safe walking at day or night. Very clean apartment! The windows face inwards towards other apartments/plaza area so it's pretty quiet, except the occasional police car siren. We kept the windows open at night and it would stay pretty warm in mid June (outside was may 65-70 and sometimes raining and inside would be warmer). There is a heater but we didn't use it. I am not sure if there was air conditioning as I didn't look for it. Wifi was good. We didn't see the swimming pool and Agnes didn't show it to us but we also didn't look for it since we were there to see Paris. Never used the TV so no comment on that. Elevator was helpful for luggage and after a tiring day of walking. Apartment is on the 5th floor and the elevator takes you up to the 4th floor so you still have a few more steps. Great place, would recommend!
Super charming location, near everything a visitor wants access to. Host very responsive.
Takes a while for a North American to get use to the Saniflo toilet, it sounds a bit like an aircraft engine, and probably a good idea to ask for a demo for the applicances. Remember old doors will always be very loud closing, but the interior court is very calm, so nice and quiet at night. Would absolutely return.
Charming room and great location.
This is a lovely room on a quiet street in the Saint Germain dès près area of Paris. You can walk to the vast majority of the attractions that Paris has to offer: le Louvre, musée d’Orsay, musée Rodin, the Latin quarter, l’Opéra, les jardins du Luxembourg, etc. Plus, because you are in the 6th arrondissement, there are cafés and restaurants everywhere. The room itself is clean and comfortable with all you need for cooking, although I just used it for breakfast. It is a great place to stay during your time in Paris, and Agnès was very helpful. I hope to stay here next time I come to Paris. Thanks, Agnès!
Several metro stations are nearby (Sevres-Babylone, Saint Sulpice and Saint-Germain-des-Près) and many buses studio (39, 63, 70, 83, 84, 94, 95, 96 ...)
Go enjoy a hot chocolate at Cafe de Flore, and then walk on the Boulevard Saint Germain, rue de Sèvres or small neighborhood street. Admire the Hermes shop windows, Berlutti, Vuitton, Prada ....
Then go have lunch in the sun in the Luxembourg Gardens where you can come across some celebrities who make their jogging.
The afternoon you will have the choice of going to the movies or walk to the museum (Louvre, Delacroix museum, Notre Dame is 10 minutes from the studio).
Then you can finish your evening with a restaurant of your choice (French, Japanese, creperie, breweries ...) and if you still have a little energy, you can go dancing in nightclubs or enjoy a drink while listening to jazz clubs in the district.
