About Todd
We moved to the area about ten years ago and both work as educators. We enjoy being outdoors, gardening, exploring the Keweenaw, and raising our young son in a place with four distinctive seasons. Kathleen is originally from Upper Michigan and has enjoyed returning 'home'. Todd is from the Chicago area and has enjoyed life at a slower, quieter pace.
Why Todd chose Lake Linden
We love the beach and lagoon access and the simple but efficient way the cabin is designed. We had been looking for a lakefront property for the past five years and this cabin was everything we had desired. We enjoy using it in the off season with our young son while also making updates and improvements for our guests.
What makes this Cottage unique
What we like most about our cabin are the panoramic views over 'The Big Lake' (as locals call it), with views of the small mountains to the north on the Keweenaw Peninsula, the wide open expanse of Lake Superior to the east, sunrises over the lake, moonrises over Grand Traverse Point to the south. These views can be enjoyed from inside the cabin, inside the sauna, from the deck, or--of course--from on the beach and sitting around the beach firepit.

October weekend
Our family of four had a great time in Todd's cabin. Todd was extremely easy to work with and always responded to emails promptly. The cabin was clean and we were treated with a bottle of wine and a note which was a nice touch! Our kids enjoyed the beach - even though it was October and quite chilly. The place is quiet, relaxing with great sunsets and sun rises - also great for star gazing! Would definitely stay there again.

All excellent - as listed and portrayed
Just bring clothes and food. Everything else is there. (Kitchen, laundry, kayaks, bikes). Buy xtra firewood for beach fires. We'll be back.
Blessed
We have now made this an annual getaway because of the beauty of the location, the friendliness of Todd and his family, and the great choices for day trips. We had amazing weather and spectacular fall colors and can't wait for next year!
Great location, just a few things to recommend
The cottage w was as advertised. The location is very nice. It would help if the extensive "to do" list of tasks required before checkout was shown as part of the online listing. Also, check-in would be helped were visitors told that the keys operating the lock box containing the house key need to be pushed until they "click". Overall, a good experience.
Relaxing trip!
The cottage on the lake has amazing views and is the best place to decompress and relax. Todd made the booking, check-in and check-out process flawless. I highly recommend this cottage if you are looking for a place to get away from hustle and bustle of daily life!
Beautiful view
This cabin has amazing sunrises and sunsets. Truly a great way to get away from it all. We took many day trips including Copper Harbor, Porcupine Mountains. We had fun taking our ATVs on trails. No regrets with this rental! The sauna was also a great experience!!!
