We spent two weeks in the historic hilltop town of Sainte Suzanne and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Gite is well equipped and very comfortable. Jean Philippe and Carol were gracious hosts who were available if we needed them. On arrival there was a bouquet of roses on the table as well as eggs, bread, milk, chevre, and salad fixings. We enjoyed our morning coffees and afternoon aperitifs on the large, upper balcony with it's spectacular panoramic views over the valley around Sainte Suzanne. We barbecued a few times in the evenings and enjoyed our dinner on the main patio. The shower was hot and the water pressure was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. We lit the log fire on a few cool evenings and it added to the ambience of the place.
We would highly recommend this Gite.
We book the house for one week and didn't regret it! We received a warm welcome from the owner. It is a really beautiful house in a very very nice little town. The house is well equipped, everything you need is there. It has a great view from the terras on the first floor across the landscape. When the weather is good, it is a great place to sit and relax. The town itself, Saint Suzanne, is an medieval French town with some great views, beautiful old houses and a castle. We really love the stay and will definitely come back!
