The apartment is on the 2nd floor (top floor) of an old town house with access via a staircase with handrail period. Can cause problems for people with reduced mobility. Bike Lovers: Bike Storage is not possible in our apartment or on the outskirts. It is possible to rent bikes by the hour, the day ... (lessor 100 meters from the apartment).

Provencal Charm

We had the opportunity to stay in this apartment in September 2017. The apartment is located near the center of town close to the church. It is quiet and convenient to the sites in the city. We were welcomed by Brice's parents. They spoke no English and we spoke very little French but we were about to communicate with a lot of sign language and pointing. We rented a car and were always able to find parking. The apartment was well furnished and included good internet and a washing machine. There was no dryer but there was a clothes rack and everything dried by the next morning on the clothes rack. There is a boulangerie two blocks away so we usually bought a couple of croissants and quiche and had breakfast in the room. Most of our other meals were at the restaurants in town or on the road to other villages in the area. This is a good central location to visit the other villages such as Gordes, Les Baux, and Rousillon. One of the highlights was market day on Sunday and Thursday. The entire city is taken over by open air markets. When we left Brice met us promptly and returned our 200 euro deposit. I would highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Provence.

We loved our stay at "The nest of isle" and are pleased to recommend it to everyone.

We were impressed with "The nest of isle" from the very outset. We were met at the apartment by Brice and offered assistance with our luggage, given a very detailed introduction to the apartment and the village. Any questions we had during our stay were immediately responded to by text message, and Brice was on site to check us out and return our deposit without hesitation.

The apartment is ideally located just a two minute walk from the town centre and free parking is available just a five minute walk away. Just be aware the parking area can fill up quickly on a working day and during special evening events, but alternative parking can be found not far away.

The apartment is tastefully decorated with an antique flavour, consistent with the theme of the town, has a separate and comfortable bedroom, nice bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Our stay was during the hottest weather in France for 30 years, and we were grateful for the effective air-conditioning.

We would happily stay there again and are pleased to recommend it to anyone seeking accommodation in L'Isle sur la Sorgue.

A fantastic apartment, well positioned, immaculately kept.

Our 8 night stay at this apartment was exceptional. The property is as in the photo's, exceptionally well maintained with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The apartment is positioned well, within walking distance to everything this beautiful town has to offer.

Brice met us promptly upon arrival, keeping in contact to ensuring he met our arrival time and answered any questions we had. The air conditioning was great considering a very hot week and the kitchen was very well equipped.

Thank you Brice for the use of this beautiful apartment.

Excellent Location, Facilities and Service

L'Isle sur la Sorgue was the perfect base for our stay in Provence, and this apartment suited our needs perfectly. The photos are accurate, the apartment immaculate, and the location was quiet and convenient. Brice's parents welcomed us (actually, they rescued us wandering a few blocks away - due to our map-reading error) and informed us of all we needed to know about entry, parking, and use of the well-appointed facility. They spoke little English, and we spoke little French, but through charades, demonstrations, and cheerful determination, the introduction was more than adequate. We didn't cook or watch TV, but the washer came in handy. We were often able to park just outside the building, but the large public lot is only a few minutes' walk away and always had availability. Brice was prompt, responsive and courteous at every step of the engagement. Plan to enjoy the amazing Sunday morning market if you can.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brice's apartment.We were greeted by his charming parents who showed us around the apartment. The apartment is lovely - just like in the pictures. It's tastefully decorated and has everything you could want. It even had a drying rack for the laundry - a welcome change from running clothes lines in other properties. It's very comfortable and clean. There is a free parking lot about 50 meters from the apartment. We were there for 10 days and always found a parking spot. La Isle Sur la Sorgue is a charming village and the apartment is in a great location. Everything is within a 15 minute walk. It has great restaurants and a large variety to chose from. Groceries, shopping, and ATMs are minutes away. Don't miss market day on Sunday. Bring some food home and cook at home. The apartment is also centrally located in Provence. It makes a great home base to explore the region. We highly recommend this property.
