The apartment boasts a built-in veranda with a triple orientation, mainly east-facing, with two terraces. A parking is available inside the building, what allows you to unload your purchase in a secured and covered place. Less than 2 minutes away from subway lines 6 and 8, you can reach any place in Paris in less than 15 minutes.

What makes this apartment unique

This apartment is located in a shopping street and close to public transportation of which a Vélib' station (public bicycle), a taxi station, and subway lines (lines 6 and 8), all of it nestled in a green setting, with very wide avenues lined by trees. The centre of Paris is only 5 minutes away by subway, with the lines 6 and 8. The latter is less than 2 minutes away from the apartment.

This commercial district is very lively. You will find everything you need in the many shops and handicraft shops, in particular on the Viaduc des Arts, located on the Daumesnil avenue, towards Place de la Bastille.

Wonderful place to stay in Paris

As other people have noted, the place looks like the pictures show and it was a fantastic place to stay during our trip to Paris. Fredrick was an excellent host. The beds were very comfortable and the place was quiet, even with the windows open. The terrace was lovely and view from the terrace was peaceful. We would stay here again!

Very accurately portrayed - excellent attention to detail

Frederic's apartment was modern and in excellent condition. His attention to detail was the best we've ever seen in our many AirBnB experiences. Frederic was also very responsive, meeting us at the apartment so we could drop our bags, then showing us the neighborhood and making recommendations for a patisserie/boulangerie, brasserie and supermarkets, all within 3 minutes walk of the apartment. The apartment is not the most central to the major tourist sites, but there are two metro stops within 200 metres. The neighborhood is awesome and makes up for it being a little outside the city center. Much quieter and very Parisian. We felt more like locals. The shop folks were very kind and patient with our limited French. The A/C in the apartment was broken so it's a good thing it was a little cool when we were there because the apartment would be a little stuffy if it was warm (never rose above the low 70s/ 22-23 degrees this week). Also, it's a little crowded with four people, but we knew that going in. Apartment had the amenities and was in great shape, like I said. Frederic is the consummate host.

Beautiful Apartment Beautiful Host

The apartment is as seen in pictures. Perfect size for me and my family of 4 (2 kids- ages 6 and 8). Located in a very nice neighborhood-with wonderful shops and friendly people. Not too close to touristy venues but still very lively. We really enjoyed the street markets right outside the doors. Good good food. 2 supermarkets within walking distance. Frederic was a wonderful host! Very communicative before stay and met us at door and assisted with luggage. He was very very thorough about apartment, neighborhood, and Paris in general. Note: he gives a very thorough tour upon arrival. This is great, but for a family of 4 traveling with small children it was a bit much after 14 hours of travel. So just be prepared upon arrival you will spend at least 1.5 hours getting acquainted and learning the knick knacks of the apartment/area. We stayed at 3 different places in this trip and my kids kept saying that "we want to go back to Frederic's place"....Wonderful time. Highly Recommend!

A beautiful modern Paris apartment

Frederic was very helpful and delightful to work with. He introduced me to the apartment and then showed me around the neighborhood. Loved the open feeling of the apartment in a very quiet Parisian neighborhood. The Metro has stops at both ends of the block. We used Google Maps app and rode everywhere in the city like pros.

If you love to cook make sure to take your shopping bags every Tuesday and Thursday morning to the open air market on the street for the freshest meats and vegetables. Then pick up some flowers. You'll feel like a native.

A Lovely Paris Adventure!

The pictures do not lie...Frederic provides his guests with a gorgeous, comfortable, clean, modern flat, conveniently close to shops and all public transportation. Moreover, it's a wonderful, safe neighborhood. After visiting tourist sites during the day, often we would walk through the neighborhood, wandering through the scenic parks. Pure bliss! The flat was very comfortable, the bed being particularly cozy and warm. Frederic is extremely helpful and friendly, just a pleasure to meet. Upon arrival to the apartment, Frederic met us. He helped us with our luggage, gave us a tour of the flat (explaining all the appliances and remotes - thank goodness!) and walked us through the neighborhood. Frederic even set out various maps and guides to make our stay as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Additionally, when one of us got sick, Frederic recommended a good pharmacist to us and offered to set up an appointment with his doctor. Frederic's attention to detail and genuine kindness was much appreciated. Moreover, the gorgeous flat and all the wonderful amenities provided us with a stress-free vacation. Thank you Frederic for your lovely hospitality!

My sister and I had a wonderful time at this property.

The property is beyond the beyond. Furnishings & finishes were top notch. Everything was beautiful. The neighbourhood is friendly and all places of interest are a short metro ride away. Frederic is a most charming host and looks after you like royalty. Highly recommended.

It is set in near a market that takes place on Tuesday and Friday and two subway lines (6 and 8), which will allow you to easily reach all the areas of Paris, and a taxi station.

You will only need a few minutes to access the A3, A4, and A6 highways thanks to the beltway right next to the district.

With wide avenues lined with trees, 10 minutes walking away from the Bois de Vincennes, one of the green areas of the capital city, from the Place de la Bastille and Place de la Nation, and from the Gare de Lyon, this apartment is also really close to many sport infrastructures (5 minutes away walking from the Palais Omnisport de Paris Bercy), or to the UGC cinema, passing by the Viaduc des Arts.
