Why The Owner chose Sestriere

The apartment is located on the second floor of the modern ‘Il Fraitevino’ complex, situated in the pure centre of Sestriere. It is a bright, easy access (even on ski from Sansicario!) apartment on an excellent strategic location: within a range of 100 m you will find all the main points of interest the country has to offer. The residence is two minutes walking away from the ski slopes. Construction of this apartment was completed in the year 2000. In here you will enjoy your stay amongst friends or family, admiring one of the most beautiful views of the Milky Way although being only 2 steps away from local shops, markets, supermarkets and gymnasiums.

Our stay at this place could not have been better! Everything about the house was superior: plenty of room, super clean,comfortable beds, nice thick comfortable cushions on all deck furniture,plenty of nice throw pillows everywhere, wonderful view of mountains and slopes, hardwood floor, many cozy spots to curl up with a good book or movie, kids loved TV and wifi. The bathroom is ok with plenty of nice furniture in every room...Wifi internet connection,super cool We have rented many different houses over the last several years in Italy and this house ranks as Number One with usWe are eager to return next summer!! The girl holding the keys and meeting us was very knowledgeable and quick to respond in a positive manner. We are grateful to the owners of this house for creating this wonderful place to gather and relax in total comfort and pleasure...and for sharing it with us...we made an effort to care for it as if it were our own. Thanks!

Impeccabile

Devo dire che di case ne abbiamo girate sempre molte negli ultimi 4 anni in montagna... Ma questa le batte tutte alla grande.

La vista è mozzafiato. La comodità idem. Tutto sotto casa dal bar al supermercato al negozietto alla palestra dietro a 50 metri alle piste da sci al giornalaio.

La casa è situata al centro del paese nella zona pedonale ma non si sente un rumore.

La ragazza che ci ha accolti e seguiti nel ponte dei morti era gentilissima e risolve tutti i problemi sempre senza batter ciglio. Unica pecca il wifi non funzionava ma era un problema della rete del comune non del proprietario.

Consigliatissimo e il prezzo vale la candela a differenza di altre location visitate dove siamo stati rapinati!!!

Eccezionale

Siamo stati in questo appartamento già 2 volte e francamente devo dire che rispetto a tutti quelli provati in passato è davvero di un'altra categoria sia per posizione che bellezza.

La prima volta lo scorso Luglio essendo appassionati di mountain bike e tennis con mia moglie abbiamo passato 2 settimane perfette anche come tempo e itinerari. Cani e gatti sono ammessi e questo è anche abbastanza unico dato che avevamo un bassottino ed un gatto. Il proprietario non c'era, ma ci ha accolto una ragazza molto sveglia e capace che puntualmente ci ha aiutati anche coi piccoli problemi di casa. Per le bici avevamo le nostre e c'è un garage comodissimo privato dove le tenevamo. La casa è circondata da comodità e silenziosissima nonostante la centralità.

Nel complesso consigliatissima anche per l'inverno essendo attaccata alle piste. Il wi-fi ha dato problemi solo 2 giorni su 12... Ma quando funziona è davvero veloce ed utile. Considerando che siamo in montagna lo consideriamo davvero un extra. Ormai appuntamento fisso.

très bonne adresse

Appartement très agréable, très propre, très bien équipé et avec beaucoup de rangements. Agréablement surpris en arrivant par rapport aux photos.

Immeuble récent, très calme (on n'entend meme pas les voisins), avec local chauffé pour skis et chaussures. Les commerces sont juste à coté. Les pistes sont à 5 mn à pied.

Je vous conseille fortement cette location. D'ailleurs quand nous reviendrons à Sestrière, nous ne chercherons pas une autre adresse.

Fantastic!!

We stayed at this location in February and found it to be lovely. Jo (the host) was kind and very accommodating.

When we booked we were intending on only staying for 1 week, but the place is so nice we ended up staying for 2!

The house/condo is extremely comfortable and immaculately clean (the property is quite new and they have staff who are dedicated cleaners and clean it every day, so it's always tidy) which was a nice change from many of the less comfortable flats we've stayed at throughout Italy.

WiFi reception is excellent throughout the entire property. There is 1 great balcony to sit and read and there is also a lovely view over the square and the slopes. Rooms have good quality heating which one can control from inside the flat.

The shower is excellent - high pressure and always hot. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are nicely furnished with desks, wardrobes and bedside tables, all in great condition. The location is excellent - far enough away from the main street to not be noisy but only 2 mins walk to the main slopes, restaurants and cafes from when you want to head out to eat / explore Sestriere.

Also... The indoor parking given the bad weather conditions was a jolly!

Most of all, Jo is simply the warmest, friendliest and most honest guy who could possibly have hosted us. He's genuinely friendly and helpful without pushing you to buy tours or anything.

All in all, this flat was our 'home away from home' in the mountains and I cannot recommend it highly enough. We were sad to leave will miss our host.

If you're looking for reasonably priced accommodation in Sestriere you'd be stupid to go elsewhere and I cannot recommend this location highly enough.

Spettacolare

Inanzitutto cosa non indifferente grande disponibilità del proprietario sia nello spiegarci come arrivare e nell'accoglierci con tanto di bollicine e crumiri. La casa è super centrale di una comodità estrema attaccata a tutto... Piste, negozi, palestra (il palazzetto dello sport è a 30 metri), cinema, locali... Il posto auto interno è privato e chiuso. La casa estremamente ben tenuta. Dopo anni che viaggiamo una delle meglio conservate che abbiamo visto con tutti gli optional possibili addirittura il wifi che in montagna è come un'apparizione. I bagli sono entrambi accoglienti con una sola doccia spaziosa. Il condominio poi ha una portinaia tutto fare che per ogni evenienza sa aiutare e sa farlo in fretta. Consigliatissimo.
