Spectacular Views *Swimming Pool* Hot Tub, *Real Log Fires*, Mountain Getaway

Absolutely amazing cabin with complete privacy and all the comforts of a 5 star resort. We loved everything about the cabin and instantly felt at home. The view is spectacular, hot tub was our very own spa in the mountains. Charles was an amazing host. We had a wee challenge with the address provided by Homeaway but once we remembered Charles had sent us a detailed email we found our secluded paradise. We will be sure to rave to all our Canadian friends.

We cancelled (had to) our 9/16-9/18/19 reservation with the owner on 8/26/19. We found out on 8/23/19 that I have leukemia and needed to start tests right away. We went back and forth on email a few times with the property owner about this, all very positive. Then we started getting email directly from VRBO saying that they were looking forward to hosting us, 3 emails to that effect. We contacted the property owner again, and then VRBO directly that we had to cancel our reservation, having done so with the owner on 8/26/19. (Note: We reserved this property in July, which is within the 60-day cancellation period.) NOW, TODAY, we got an email from VRBO asking us how we enjoyed our stay!!! I honestly don't know how to answer that. I have rated this property at 5 stars across the board, as I truly believe, given previous ratings, that 5 stars is what we would have given, had we had the pleasure of staying at this property. The property is on our bucket list for future travel in the area. I NEED TO STRESS HOW VERY POSITIVE ALL OF OUR COMMUNICATIONS HAVE BEEN WITH THE OWNER. He has been very nice to work with. But we are left wondering what more we can do here, toward any kind of refund that can be worked out, given that VRBO still thinks that we stayed there.

The view was AMAZING from the home and the home was very clean; it has everything you would want/need. Internet worked great. Since it was warmer we got to enjoy the large pool during the day and hot tub at night when it cooled down. As a city girl (Philadelphia) I enjoyed looking up to see all the beautiful stars! Our group got evacuated from OBX on the 3rd of September so we were already a tad stressed but when booking with Charles he was very responsive with any questions and check in was a breeze! He definitely made us relax and look forward to continuing our vacation. If you need to unplug, unwind, and just sit back relax I highly recommend this cabin! Thank you for everything and hopefully we make it back to the valley soon!

We had a fantastic time at the cabin. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. The pool and hot tub were very nice as well. The views from the front deck were incredible. The mountain road and driveway was a little rough but easily traveled with 4WD.

Seriously, I’m a woman in my mid 50’s and had absolutely no problem in my

4wd Ram going up the mountain. For me, it was fun, just very bumpy. The drive was nothing compared to a cabin my husband and I rented a few years ago...it was very steep and dangerous; you def wanted to hug the wooded area as to not ride off the cliff. Charle’s cabin road, as stated, was just bumpy. Our son-in-law and daughter kept their new mini van at the bottom of the mtn as suggested with no issues.

Wonderful cabin...the pool and hot tub were awesome and the downstairs bed was exceptionally comfortable. The cabin was neat and clean and Charles responded to my emails quickly. It was our first vacation with our adult children and granddaughters and we had a fantastic time celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary with them. All of us loved the cabin and, of course, the beautiful views.
