My name is Pam Jackson and I built this cabin to begin a beautiful Life in the Cabin Rental Business so I could share all the things that I love about Hochatown and surrounding areas. That is where Bella Vita got it's name is my 'Beautiful Life'. I go above and beyond to make sure your stay is excellent. I love to see people happy and that is the comments in our guest book about how happy this made them and comfortable they felt in our cabin. Come see for yourself. I assure you that I will make sure you have a great time!
Pam Jackson purchased this cabin in 2011
We had a quick get away here during our spring break. Kids had a blast & hot tub was excellent.
Washer and dryer were convenient, kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of towels and slept great.
Not as remote as I expected but we didn't have any neighbors breathing down our necks since one cabin didn't have guests and another is still being built.
Short drive away from everything. Nice place!
We come to Broken Bow every year and it's always great. No cabin Is perfect and what I'm saying here shouldn't keep anyone from staying here. It's quite lovely. However, I now understand why there was no pic of the tv...it was small and on the ceiling. When I say I left w/ a crick in my neck, I am not kidding. The beds were comfortable and the patio over the hot tub was great b/c it rained the entire time. The lights outside didn't work, but there were flashlights and candles so no biggy. The bathroom sink drained slow, but again as long as you didn't leave the water running, no biggy.
The part I hated was having to get an ap in order to get the address. I had to download it, then register w/ a password only to delete it after we left b/c I'll never use it again. I'm still getting junk mail. I had to email the owner directly (I guess she was the owner) for the code to get in and she responded quickly. There were no instructions anywhere on what I was expected to do as we left.
The huge issue was the bedding. I've posted a special warning on my FB about cabins in general b/c the cleaning lady we saw on our way out said that most owners don't have a second set and don't have the time to wash everything each time and only change the sheets after every visit. I know we are all leery of hotels and their comforters. I throw them in the floor as soon as I get to a room. I thought these cabins would be different. Just in case I still threw the top quilt on the floor but went to bed that night w/ the blanket underneath. It smelled like vomit. No one would know what anyone did on the bedding w/out being told so shouldn't they change it all just in case. I know it was our 1st anniv and we did some dirty things on the other bed on top of the quilt. I bet they didn't touch that bed b/c it looked left alone. I'm just saying everyone needs to take your own bedding or use the w/d in the cabins to wash the bedding they provide b/f getting in it. It's not just this cabin, it's all of them....I'll be taking my own stuff or calling someone to bring me fresh wherever I go from now on. Cuddling up to that vomit smell was not fun.
Cabin was clean and so cute. Perfect for a couples weekend getaway! We enjoyed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The hot tub was great! The Cardinal dive bombed the door every morning, it was so funny! We will definitely be back!
The bedroom has two beds and we never saw the fishing dock which on the Internet looks to be part of the cabin. The decor was a little too much too.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay, there was not much to do being that it was Christmas and the whole city shuts down, but none the less we made the best of it. I would suggest that there be some sort of motion light or brighter porch light, it is pitch black at night. The cabin is really cute and the décor gave it personality. We had a chance to relax, bond and enjoy one another's time, which was the goal. I would really like to go back when the City has more to do, from the local magazine SUMMER is the best time to do that. The cabin comes pretty stocked up with everything, I was disappointed that there were no coffee filters, but that is a small glitch. I enjoyed the whole nature experience, we had a few cardinals that showed up each morning at the same time. I did notice that a lot of other cabins had Christmas Trees up and decorated, not sure if that was an owners touch or the renters but that would have been an added bonus since it was the Holiday's. With this being said, we enjoyed our time and look forward to renting again in the near future......
With numerous activities available, (All Listed above) I'm sure you'll find something for everyone in your group. We also have other sister cabins to accommodate more. New activities coming soon will be Mighty Duck Rides, and Zip Lining. Coming Spring 2015!
