Rural surroundings, tranquility, comfortable and well equipped, air conditioned, beautiful view, large private terrace of 56m2 (may be suitable for nudists) and indoor pool are the most of this vacation.
You will be surrounded by orange, peach and lemon trees, in a finca of 2500m2 (farm), with an indoor pool available all year round, the water is between 28º and 30ºC all year and illuminated at night.
Many activities are offered in Tenerife: hiking, water sports, climbing, ...
If you want to avoid the busy touristy areas and find a peaceful haven, this villa is for you. Easy distance from the south airport and lovely quiet beaches on the south coast (about half an hour), and about an hour's drive to Mt. Teide, the villa is an excellent base.
We had a nice view of mountains and sea, not to mention magnificent sunsets, from our large, private, flat-roof patio. We spent some relaxing days sun-bathing on this roof and enjoyed the indoor heated pool, which was just-right in temperature (not too hot or too cold). The flat itself is simply furnished and cosy, and had everything we needed (we were very pleased it included a washing machine-- no need to bring too many articles of clothing!).
Claude and Micheline are wonderful hosts: friendly, helpful and generous. They often left 'presents' on our doorstep, such as fresh eggs from their hens. We're hoping to sample their peaches when we return at the end of May-- Claude also gave us a jar of his homemade peach preserves (and fig jam as well), which were absolutely delicious!
We can't wait to go back!

I had a really lovely stay here. The location was very quiet and the accommodation itself was perfect - clean and cosy with a fantastically large terrace and a wonderfully warm pool! Many many thanks to the owners who were incredibly kind and helpful, giving me lifts to various shops and markets and providing me with a vast amount of fresh fruit, veg and eggs! I would definitely recommend this rental.
A very nice stay with a very nice couple! We communicated in Spanish. We especially enjoyed the big terrace and the garden that provided oranges and fresh eggs :) The chickens were hillarious.
We also enjoyed a rather strenous walk up the hillside. Stunning views. Quite often we walked in to the closest little town as well, altough our hosts thought we were crazy for being without a car :) All in all a lovely stay!!!

Retirée des lieux de tourisme de masse, la finca de Claude et Micheline offre le calme d'une vie paisible au milieux des plantes grasses, des arbres fruitiers et d'un potager verdoyant. Les oeufs frais les fruits et légumes offerts furent les bienvenus. La piscine privée couverte est un vrai "plus" après une journée de visites ou de randonnées. Claude et Micheline sont aux petits soins pour le confort de leurs hôtes, ils nous ont été d'une aide très précieuse lorsque nous avons du faire toutes sortes de démarches à la suite du vol de nos affaires. L'appartement est fonctionnel doté de tous les équipements nécessaires, jusqu'aux peignoirs de bains ! Nous avons passé un très bon séjour :)
Nous venons de passer deux semaines dans le gîte de Claude et Micheline. 15 jours en pleine nature; l'appartement est confortable et la grande terrasse est fantastique. Merci aussi pour l'accueil, les conseils, les fruits et les œufs de la maison.
Notre souhait est de revenir.

On the south autouroute take the Granadilla output to about 8 km to Granadilla.
A Granadilla take right towards Chimiche, pass the church, to 2 km and then after the 'Barranco de las Animas Cruz' to about 200m, the speed limit sign '50', take the first right (it s' is a small dead end road). Make 600m on this small road to No. 16, the house is on the right.
The owners live on site, they can inform and advise you during your stay.
