This is a great apartment in an excellent location! We were a group of 10 couples/friends and found the apartment extremely well equipped in a location which gave easy access to the slopes. Once out of the front door the slopes are literally 40 metres across the road. The Rond Point is 100m up the road for those that like to stop for apres ski action on the way home. Below the apartment block is a lovely French restaurant serving a good range of food. The bus stops a few paces away and there is a supermarket within 50m of the building. Parking is available across the road and is free of charge.
The apartment is situated on the top floor of the block and is spread across 3 floors. The living/kitchen area are on the ground floor of the apartment with floors 2 and 3 housing the bedrooms. The third floor is accessible via a ladder.
There is a ski locker on the ground floor which provided plenty of space for 10 sets of skis and boots etc.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment!
We were a party of four adults. All of us enjoyed the property and found that it was well equipped, spacious and cozy. It had the added bonus of being on the slopes. You can ski in and out. There are two restaurants underneath the property, both of which are good and both available for a quiet apres ski. In addition, there is a supermarket, ski and ski hire shops within easy walking distance. There is a very regular free bus to and from Meribel Centre. Also, we had some lovely walks to the centre and there are some great shops and restaurants on the way. Before our holiday, the owner, Marie-Nathalie was very helpful and always responded within a few hours for any questions we had. All in all, I would highly recommend this property and if I visited Meribel again, I would stay again.
The apartment is in a lovely, well maintained building above the restaurant CroMagnon.. When we arrived , the caretaker was there to give us the keys and make sure all was okay. In the Lobby you can leave your skis safely in a locked ski-closet. The elevator will take you to the top floor of the building where the apartment has a lovely view over the mountains and pistes in the distance. It is a triplex. Downstairs is the living room area ( the fireplace does not work ) and the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is small, but it is open plan and has everything you will need ( except for a microwave ). The decor is not the latest style, but we did not think it was a problem. There is a sunny balcony all across the living and dining room . There is one bathroom with a washing machine and a shower room and 2 separate wc. The bathrooms and the kitchen have not been renovated in some years, but everything worked perfectly well and we were very pleased with our stay. All the bedrooms have plenty of room for storage and the master bedroom is big and comfortable. On the top floor ( reached by an attic ladder ) there is another spacious area with a bedroom and a balcony overlooking a room below ( but the door can be closed for privacy ).
What we enjoyed most about this apartment was that it was so close to the piste: just cross the street and put on your skis in the morning. Really a joy to be so close to the piste! If you need to go to the center of the village, there is a free bus that goes from the bus stop just 50 m from the door. But all your shopping needs can be taken care of within the 2 buildings next door where there is a supermarket, a deli shop ( traiteur ), 2 ski rental shops, a boutique and 2 restaurants .
We totally enjoyed our stay and being in an apartment that gives you the feeling of a family home. The owner was easy to contact when we had a few questions. Everything went according to plan and we totally recommend this apartment.
Appartement très bien placé, départ ski juste en face de l'immeuble, boulangerie et commerces (superette, restaurants et locations) au pied de l'immeuble. Arrêt navette Meribus à 1 min à pied (centre Méribel à 10-15 min). Le "rond point des pistes", où se situe le club piou-piou pour les enfants, est à 1 arrêt en navette (ou 5 min à pied).
Les pièces sont spacieuses et bien agencées. Le style est "ancien" mais tout fonctionne parfaitement. Cuisine neuve et bien équipée. L'appartement dispose d'un grand balcon que nous avons pu utiliser, grâce à une météo favorable cette semaine.
Le propriétaire répond à toutes les questions par mail, ce qui nous a permis de bien préparer notre arrivée.
Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cet appartement.
Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans cet appartement. Il est tout à fait adapté pour 9 personnes. La cuisine et la pièce de vie sont très chaleureuses et il est très appréciable d'avoir un couchage pour tout le monde. Le point à améliorer serait selon nous les salles de bain (pas de lumière dans celle du bas au niveau de la douche et pas de rideau de douche dans celle du haut) mais cela n'a pas entaché le séjour.
La situation de l'appartement est parfaite, avec l'arrêt de bus, les commerces et le petit chemin qui mène aux pistes. La boulangerie est à 2 minutes à pieds et le casier à ski en bas de l'immeuble facilite la logistique.
Les pistes sont accessibles par un petit chemin de l'autre côté de la route, et l'accès à tout le domaine est très rapide depuis Méribel.
Idéal pour notre semaine entre amis. La météo ensoleillée, nous a aussi permis de profiter du balcon et des transats à disposition en rentrant, le soir en rentrant de la journée de ski.
