Refreshing weekend

  • 4 of 5

After taking care of my mom for 2 months, this was the perfect getaway. I admit I felt a little out of place because the guest book was signed by people who were either on their honeymoon (Most of them married at Miss Caroline's Wedding Chapel) or they were married there previously and were there on their anniversary. We were not married there and were not on our anniversary so we didn't sign the book. I just needed a break and my husband knew it. It was a wonderful get away. Everything you need is there. We saw at least 3 weddings taking place at the chapel which is at the start of the road. It is a beautiful little church or from what we saw you can get married in front of an awesome water fall. I would highly recommend this place for honeymooners and anniversaries. However it is not secluded. There are 5 cabins and there is only enough room for a car between the one in front you and the one behind you and only room for the one lane road from the one across from you. However the windows are set in a way you do feel secluded. And the one we were in had a hot tub on the porch but it had blinds, no windows on the cabin in front or us and we were able to enjoy it while feeling we were in a private setting. It does not have a TV in the bedroom but wifi was awesome. over all, it was a relaxing experience and we highly recommend it ! Thank you for letting us stay there. BTW our pups felt right at home and lounged around with us when not in their crate. Very pet friendly.

Comfortable "Tiny House" for Two

  • 4 of 5

What a perfect location to the Great Smokey Mountains in Maggie Valley! The cottage was well equipped, so clean, and quite comfortable. We loved the hot tub and the convenience of the living and kitchen area. It's not quite as wooded and private as we imagined, but we had a wonderful, restful get-away. We loved the people in the town of Maggie Valley and enjoyed meals at both Frankie's Italian Trattoria and J. Fletcher's Steak and Seafood house. The Spruills, Raleigh, NC

Romantic Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our cabin Catch of the Day. Everything was so clean and the décor was really nice. This is the first place I have ever stayed that the bed was really comfortable and the pillows were real!! The kitchen / living area very nice and clean. Just add a baking sheet and a skillet, we always cook in. We enjoyed the front porch a lot and grilled out both nights. We will definitely be back.

Neat, clean & comfy bed.

  • 4 of 5

Cabin was neat & clean. Enjoyed a weekend of hiking Pisgah National Forest. Thankfully they had the AC going for us prior to our arrival because we had hit some trails on our way in & were hot. Bed was super comfy. Hot tub was small but perfect on small muscles. Cabin was also small but it was just me & my Dixie girl (dog). Loved the location as it was convenient to parks, roads & freeway. Just a side note but this town "rolls up the side walks" at 9. After watching the sunset one night at Max Patch we were stuck with PB&J samdwhichs more dinner. Would stay her again.
