About Rosemary Hopkins
My husband and I live in Palo Alto, California for most of the year, but I have been spending part of each summer in Seal Harbor since I was a young girl. Now we go there to spend time with our children and grandchildren. It is the perfect spot for relaxed family time in a beautiful national park setting.
Rosemary Hopkins purchased this House in 1975
Why Rosemary Hopkins chose Seal Harbor
My father, who served as President of Harvard University for many years, built this house for my mother and himself to enjoy in their retirement years.

Ideal location and accommodations for a visit to Acadia National Park
The house really well appointed with everything we need to enjoy our stay. It is situated on the quiet side of the island nestled in the woods.
Wonderful stay at the Hidden House 11 It was our second year there and looking forward to staying again next year and possibly years to come!
Cute Cottage in Seal Harbor
Great house on the quieter side of the island, but very close to the southern entrance of Acadia National Park. Great hiking trails within a few minutes drive! Excellent communications with owner and easy check-in process. I highly recommend this cottage in Seal Harbor.
Hidden House II
Hidden House II is fantastic. The house is located in the woods in Seal Harbor within walking distance of Acadia National Park and it’s numerous trails and carriage roads. The house is well equipped, exceptionally maintained and private. My wife and I highly recommend Hidden House II.
Thank you- so glad you seem to love it as much as we do-

Spacious and Close to Both Bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor
We enjoyed our stay at this Seal Harbor rental. The kitchen had everything we needed. The open floor plan was spacious with a large dining table and plenty of couch seating. We loved that we could get to our favorite hikes in any direction in 20 or so minutes. In the evening we had great stargazing right on the property.
Located on Ox Hill, close to the trails and carriage roads of Acadia National Park
