Completely renovated spacious one bedroom less than a mile to the beach

Our perfect beach getaway on the ground floor has just been completely renovated from top to bottom with everything brand new, including floors, bathroom and kitchen and can comfortably accommodate up to four guests.

The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for your “home away from home” vacation, such as microwave, coffee maker, toaster, smooth top range, and even spices! The living room includes a 42” flat screen TV with NETFLIX, DVD, CD player and queen sleeper sofa. Bathroom is brand new and includes quality towels and linens. The spacious bedroom includes a 32” flat screen TV, king size pillow top bed with luxury linens. Enjoy your private patio with table and chairs for alfresco dining. Wifi is included within the unit, along with cable TV (about 60 channels) and NETFLIX. The unit is well located in the complex, as it’s close to the laundry room and heated pool. Beach chairs and towels are provided for our guests.

Ocean Walk is the ultimate vacation complex providing the following amenities:

• Two swimming pools (one heated in winter)

• Two tennis courts

• Gorgeous lake with beautiful wildlife

• Wonderful playground for children

• Barbeque grills throughout the complex

About Adelaide Lopez

Both of us being raised in Miami, Florida, and coming to St. Simons Island over 30 years ago, we realize what a treasure we found in St. Simons Island. Although the island is small, it offers everything we could possibly need for an easy carefree lifestyle. We love walking the beach, sometimes with our rat terrier and shitzu. Although we're in the 'South', we still enjoy fall colors around the Island. In the Spring, the Island is covered with gorgeous colors from azaleas and dogwoods blooming everywhere. It's an incredible sight! Coming from Miami and hot weather year round, we especially enjoy the mild 'change of seasons'. As we love to bike, the Island is perfect and offers more than twenty miles of bike paths. We feel like we're on vacation all the time! More than thirty years ago, when I first visited St. Simons Island and knew I wanted to stay, I always remember what a resident told me while touring Christ Church. 'St. Simons Island is as close to heaven as you can get'. That always stuck in my mind.

Great Condo!

My husband, dog and I enjoyed our stay here. The condo is in a great location on the island, close to the village and beach. The unit is also in a nice, quiet part of the condo complex. The unit is nicely decorated, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect!

Just the right size for my family of 3 and two small dogs. Very Clean and conviently located to many shops and restaurants. The fenced in porch was a nice features to contain our 2 small dogs. Wifi and Netflix was a nice also nice to have. The pool was clean and well taken care of. If you want to do some Kayaking, consider Southeast Adventure Outfitters. Pick this condo, you wont regret it.

Amazing!

We booked this condo for a last minute weekend getaway. It was so relaxing and had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful and extremely quick in responding back to us. The magnifier mirror in the bathroom and shower head was an extra bonus. Bedding was so comfortable and top of the line. Wifi was fast and Netflix was nice to have. We would definitely stay here again.

Great home base for exploring the island

This was a great home base for exploring St. Simon's Island. It is very clean, updated and has all of the things that you need. It also has a nice patio for enjoying those afternoon cocktails. The location is very convenient to the pier village, with great restaurants. Had dinner at the Half Shell and Georgia Sea Grill, which were both very good. Our lunches at Iguana's were really great--loved the fried shrimp coleslaw and hush puppies! Definitely some of the best shrimp I have had--and not overly breaded. Also went to the lighthouse and Fort Frederica National Park which were great. We also greatly enjoyed our tour of the island on Colonial Trolley--Captain Rod was really informative with great story telling skills! We will definitely be back in the future! Thanks so much!

St. Simons Great This Unit Great

This is a well appointed, updated and clean unit within Ocean Walk. Ocean Walk itself is conveniently located and this unit has a quite location within the complex with a great little patio.

We like to walk with our dog and started every morning walking to the beach (it's about a mile but with sidewalks most of the way) headed north toward the inlet then turned around walked the beach south to the down town area had breakfast then walked back up Mallery St to the unit. Great way to start the day.

Also, the owners are great to work with. We will be staying again.
