A very comfortable house in Pisa
A small house but fully equipped, near to the Center of Pisa
Very good value for money.
Owner very friendly and helpful
Home away from Home- Italian style
This small townhouse- is located on a quiet little street. The mattresses and pillows were excellent ! The house is bright and comfortable. Having the 2nd half bathroom on the second floor was convenient. Thank you Virginia!
A very comfortable house in Pisa
Ginnie's house, no more than half an hour's walk from the centre, is perfect for seeing Pisa as well as for visiting Lucca and Florence by train and Marina Di Pisa by bus.
The house itself is very comfortable with more than enough space for the two of us staying there. The garden and outside sitting area is very pleasant, especially in warm weather, which we were lucky enough to encounter during the last week of March.
Thank you Ginnie for all the assistance given, we very much enjoyed our stay at No 20
Very good location
It worked well for us as we had a small child so easy with a push chair and the owner was lovely putting stair gate and cot up for us very helpful. 15minutsa walk from the leaning tower of Pisa.
Cute little town house. With in walking distance of the Leaning Tower
We enjoyed our stay very much. It was close enough to central Pisa about a 25 minute walk or €12 in a taxi. You can also take a bus to the beach. We had a little trouble finding the no 10 bus stop! Our teenagers hired Vespa and unlike other Cities, we felt they were fairly safe on the roads. If you need a bigger supermarket, you should go to Conads it's about a 15 min walk. Ideally though you need a car for a big shop. We had a great stay and would be happy to recommend Virginia's house. It has everything you could need.
Peaceful, facilitating and comfortable.
Myself and 5 friends booked to stay in Virginias house for 3 nights. It was our first experience of booking through Owners Direct & with Virginias help it was easy runnings as she went above and beyond to assist us. Lots of guides, notes and local information provided as well as organising our taxi from the airport. When we arrived at the house it was immaculate, comfortable & there was wine, biscuits, fresh milk, bottled water & coffee (everything we needed after our flight). Virginia popped by to check we were comfortable and to answer any questions that we had. It's a 15 minute walk to the Leaning Tower of Pisa and short distance to the local train station. I would highly recommend catching the train into Lucca and hiring a bike for €3.50 to ride around the wall. A beautiful town full of charm and gelato shops. Thank Virginia for all of your help, assistance, making us welcome into your lovely home - a great holiday was had by all.
6 Happy Welsh Ladies x
These six lovely ladies were very nice . They were so enthusiastic about every aspect of their holiday and seemed to really enjoy themselves. It was a great pleasure to meet them and to find that they really appreciated the help I always give my guests.
The house is five minutes from the main road to the motorway, Pisa airport, City center and railway station. Parking is easy, but (easily accessible) public transport would be sufficient for visiting the main tourist attractions and beaches in Tuscany.
The owner works in Pisa airport, and is easily available for any help/VIP treatment (!) through the airport, as well as being very conversant in all that Pisa and its surroundings has to offer. The cottage is within walking distance of pizzerias, bars and ice cream shop ; farmer's market, wine cellar, supermarket (in fact all that the discerning tourist needs).
After visiting the usual must-see monuments of Pisa such as Leaning Tower, cathedral etc there are many wonderful places to visit in Pisa. There are several famous Museums. A walk near the river to see the medieval tower houses, the beautiful gothic miniature Church of La Chiesa della Spina. the houses of Byron, Shelley, Galileo etc. The botanical Gardens, The Roman Ship museum, Piazza dei Cavalieri with its famous palaces just to mention a few. For families there are nice attractions for children such as water parks, theme parks, caves to visit, pony rides in San Rossore Park etc
