Ideal location to visit Paris easily and reach CDG airport

Close to Montmartre (10 mn walk) this nicely wood floor apartment is very quiet and bright, The view from the 6th floor (elevator) is really amazing on all Paris (Eiffel tower and sacré-coeur for exemple), You can reach any point in Paris from the metro « La Chapelle/gare du nord » 5 minutes down the apartment (this metro line brings you to the « Charles de Gaulle » airport in 45 mn), This 5 windows charming apartment has internet (wifi), cable TV international chanels, a calm bedroom (no neighbour all around) with double bed (new matrice and a choice of different pillows and duvets), a kitchen with all you need to really cook !,a clean shower room with separeted toilettes,a big confortable sofa bed,a very top of range washing machine, etc,,

A supermarket is just down the street (1 minute!) and a private indoor parking lot (around 56 euros per week) if you need it,You will find many little shops and services (cheap bicycles rent or electric cars from the city) all around the apartment,

The building has been renovated outside and inside in 2014 (2013 for the apartment)

Bedware,linen,towels,final cleaning,electricity and taxes are included in the price, The apartment has smoke dedectors, secured door and has an insurance policy (even if you « need » your personal insurance),

Greal deal!

We had a pleasant experience staying at this rental. Laurent got in touch with us via email and Rita waited for us at the apartment with the key. The apartment is nice and clean but needs a lot of work! The apartment is well located by the Metro station ( 5 min walk). It's not in the best area but it;s safe and you see lots of diverse cultures!

Amazing views but some drawbacks

Positives:amazing view of Paris from large bedroom window, light airy top floor apartment, lift access, walking distance from Gare du Nord, easy access to metro, comfortable bed and good sized comfortable sofa bed. Short walk to Sacre Coeur.

Negatives: apartment in need of some minor repairs, very small toilet and bathroom; for us as two women we did not feel safe in the area in the evening. There were no women on the streets and often crowds of men. Would probably be fine for a mixed party of guests.

Owner's Response: I agree with you with the small toilet and bathroom, but i will suggest the "Royal Monceau" 5 stars hotel but i'm not sure you will pay 58 euros per night... And to be very honest , you felt not safe but it's your feeling , because it is much more safe than in some locations where you have nobody in the street at night (so nobody to help you ,,,) and even if it's popular (few streets around) , my sister lived 3 years alone in the apartment and she never , never had any security problem. So i'm sorry that you felt not safe (95% of my customers felt safe) , but travelling is also to see different people , and this location is a part of Paris (in it's history) that is nice to visit , just because Paris is , thanks god, much more than the Champs Elysées and the Eiffel tower (by the way you see it from the bedroom windows). I have on the same site another apartment that you could have rent , you would not have your "negatives points" but let's be fair , this apartment is more expensive ! Anyway, i hope you enjoyed the city (even with small toilet).

The property is in a very convenient place. So close to Gare du Nord and the Metro.

The property needs a little maintenance, cupboard door hinges that are just hanging on. Shower attachments that won't stay up and two new pillows that support ones head are really necessary. The area is eclectic with a varied population which makes for a colourful mix of people and small shops. Market on Wednesday and Saturday is really good. The lift to the 6 floor is wonderful and the view has to be seen to be believed. The property just needs a little love.

Cute and comfortable apartment, very good value for central Paris

We enjoyed our two night stay at the apartment. The location is convenient for Gare du Nord and easy to get to all the major sights using the metro. There is a school opposite, church behind and children's playground just round the corner. It's not one of the posher areas of Paris but we had no problems in the local area.

The apartment is exactly as shown and described on the website. The views across Paris are outstanding and the whole apartment is filled with light. Being on the 6th floor, we found it very quiet except for occasional door banging on the landing.

Shower is good, toilet is tiny but functional, bedroom and living room are both a good size for Paris. We didn't use the kitchen apart from for cups of tea - it looked fine for basic cooking.

The only downside we found was that we planned to use the sofa bed in the lounge but it was extremely uncomfortable and noisy so for the second night we made a bed on the floor of the bedroom for our son.

Great location...close to the train station, Gare du Nord!

It was clean and the view was amazing! If you are a tall or big person, the bathroom/toilet might be too small for you.

Fantastic Apartment with the best views of the city

From the second we arrived we knew this was the place for us. Lovely apartment presented exactly as in the photos. We arrived early in the morning and Rita was happy to meet us and even brought us Croissants for breakfast. Explained how every thing worked in the apartment, and gave us some really good tips for supermarkets and the like.

The views of the Sacré Couer and the Eiffel Tower are amazing.

The apartment has everything you need, and is very quiet. The lift is a winner, especially for luggage and groceries.

Transport from here is so easy with only a few minutes walk to the Metro and the Gard du Nord. It seemed that no where in Paris was more then 20 a 30 minutes away.

The fresh food market under the Metro line near Barbes- Rochechouart on Wednesday and Saturday mornings is hectic but fantastic experience.

If we are lucky enough to get back to Paris we will definitely stay here again, and have already recommended to friends to stay here.
