My son and I stayed for a week and it was perfect. Very kind hosts. Perfectly located, within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Perfect place to stay while we were visiting Jacksonville :-) thanks so much!
Clean, private, small, quaint efficiency in a good location. Only con: poor tv reception (for only 3 available channels).
The studio is in a great location that is only a 10 minute ride to downtown Jacksonville, Jacksonville Landing and EverBank Field and the beaches are about a 30 minute drive. An Uber ride to the stadium was only about $10 (not including tip) which was less expensive than driving and paying for parking. Locally, there are restaurants, shops, Publix, etc within a 5 minute drive which is very convenient. The studio was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Appreciated that there was a full sized refrigerator available to use for storing food and drinks. It was a good landing spot for a weekend visit. Would stay there again if I was in the area.
Studio was much smaller than anticipated. We expected garage conversion to be the whole garage and not 3/4 of it. It did contain all basic amenities except space. We used the patio area so that somewhat offset lack of space. Location was handy to Avondale shops and restaurants and overall area is tranquil.
This property offers good value for money if you are seeking an economically priced apartment in the Avondale and Riverside neighbourhood. The owners are extremely hospitable and made us very welcome. The apartment was compact but had all the essentials for a brief stay.
I truly enjoyed my stay at this small studio located in Historic Avondale close to practically everything. I arrived in the morning from Seattle and the owners allowed me to check in early which was truly appreciated after getting off a red eye flight. The owners were as gracious and charming as the accommodation, I would definitely stay here again.
