Beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home in Uptown, recently updated and in a perfect location. Beds include 1 king, 1 queen, 2 twins, 1 sleeper sofa, crib, and air mattress available.

Located just 4 blocks from the Tulane and Loyola universities, 4 blocks from the streetcar line (takes you directly to the French Quarter via historic St. Charles Avenue), and walking distance to numerous restaurants and bars on Maple St and Carrolton Ave including Boucherie, Jacques-Imo's, Chais Delachaise, & Maple Leaf Bar, to name a few.

- Off street parking for 2 cars in the driveway.

- Cable tv and WIFI

- Central HVAC because it's New Orleans!

Guests will have access to the entire unit as well as the driveway for parking and the patio. There is another apartment on the premises (detached) which has a full time resident - there is no shared indoor space.

House is in a nice residential neighborhood walking distance to commercial corridors on Maple St and Carrolton Ave. There are many university students, families, and young professionals living in the area.

Street car lines on St. Charles and Carrolton Ave are both walking distance away. $1.25 ride to downtown or the French Quarter. Uber and taxis are best if you are in a hurry.

We loved the house. It was a good design and the accommodations were very comfortable. We are originally from New Orleans and were in the city to visit family for Christmas. Since we spent most of our time visiting family and going to our favorite eating places, we did not have the opportunity to check out the places of interest in the area. My adult children walked to the streetcar line and rode the car into Canal St. They also took advantage of the Starbucks which was just a few blocks away. My son-in-law is a runner and in spite of the warm, humid weather, he did run in the neighborhood. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. We did find the location convenient and easily accessible to main streets. When we meet again in New Orleans with our adult children who come from Florida and Texas, we will plan to stay at Casa Freret.

Comfy, chic getaway

I was in town for my wedding and my fiancé, father & I stayed here. I lived around the corner as a grad student at Tulane so I knew the area well. It's close to everything including shops, restaurants, the campus, streetcar, and coffee shops. The house is beautifully appointed, comes with anything you could possibly need including coffee, toothbrushes, dishes, and extra linens. The beds were SOOO comfortable I didn't want to move. We will definitely consider this home for our next trip to Nola!

Comfort Near Campus

Extremely convenient to Tulane, comfortable and a good value compared to hotels. Owners/property manager are accessible if necessary and no need to bring soap, paper towels etc. Will stay again.

Great property, great location.

We recently rented this property on a last-minute basis -- the owner was very responsive and accommodating. The house is spotless and well-appointed, with nicely remodeled baths and an updated kitchen. It is in a great location in the Uptown/Carrollton area -- a short walk to numerous restaurants, some music venues, and Tulane. A bit further, but still in walking distance (approx. 1 mile), is the beautiful Audubon Park and Zoo. The street car is also a short walk, and it will bring you all the way to the French Quarter. Highly recommended!

Great house!

We stayed here with our young children for Mardi Gras. The space, kitchen, and washer/dryer were all must-haves for our needs! Nice to have off-street parking, too. Great closet space plus the laundry room for empty suitcases, etc. A few complaints/suggestions: make sure to clean and empty the Keurig water tank between guests, very little hot water in the back bathroom (it seems there's a regulator on the faucet), adding some shelves would greatly improve both bathrooms, it was strange/icky that there were many opened pantry items (peanut butter, pasta, etc) in the cupboards, a DVD player would be nice especially since there were very few cable channels available.

AWESOME RENTAL HOME & LOCATION

We were in New Orleans for Allstar Weekend and the location was perfect for Uber. It was 7 of us which fitted comfortably. The kitchen was fully equipped with supplies that we needed because we mostly ate at restaurants for lunch and dinner. We absolutely loved our stay in this home!!! We will definitely stay in this rental home if we come back to New Orleans!!!
