This Larger 2 bedroom apartment is situated on the (Top) 3rd Floor of the Lodosol Apartment Complex enjoying a corner location with S/facing main balcony views over the Las Salinas nature reserve, the Mar Menor lagoon & the La Manga resort. Both bedrooms have W/facing balconies with the twin room having an additional S/facing balcony. The complex, completed in 2006 is situated in a very mature area with no building works in the vicinity, with parklands under development to 3 sides. A family friendly complex suiting all ages and abilities. The main communal areas are serviced to three sides by elevators, steps & walkways & complimented by tended gardens. The central attraction is the very large pool (1st May-31st Oct) comprising a main swimming area accessed both with vertical steps and gradual entry at the shallow end & a disabled chair-lift access sytem. To compliment this there is an infants pool attached but segregated to one side and an adults jacuzzi to the other side. This area is fully secured and private.
Airport Transfers & Car Hire: At the start & finish of your holiday; a big advantage of the apartment complex offer package, other than its content & surroundings is its proximity to the airport. Murcia (MJV San Javier) is situated only 15 minutes from the complex so access couldn't be easier. A typical taxi journey will cost 25-30 Euros, however a collection & drop off service can be arranged if required for 15-20eu. If this is required the owner can arrange just contact in advance.
Many 'low cost' airlines now fly to Murcia (& Alicante) from many locations around the UK and other European countries making the package very competitive indeed for a family holiday.
Car hire is available at the resort, however this is best to be booked in advance as the hire centre is at the airport and collection and return of the same would cost approx 30Euros from the complex so this amount could be saved if a hire vehicle was collected on arrival
Getting Around on 2 Wheels & Spa breaks: If travelling on 2 wheels is more appealing then sightseeing of the surrounding areas is perfect & made easy as it is designed for the cyclist; a wonderful method of getting around. Bike hire can be arranged from the complex itself at a much reduced rate from local rental companies. The cost of a mountain bike for a day is 5 Euros or 25Eu for the week. Again these may be arranged in advance or during your stay based on availability. Also special rates for extended periods can usually be achieved.
Whether interested in cycling up or down the coast, there is plenty to see following lengthy coastal views. A short ferry ride (inc bikes) can also be taken to La Manga from the bay at Santiago de la Ribeira to allow a steady cycling trip around the 'La Manga Strip' & to sample the nautical offerings of the main marinas & its restaurants. Within 5 mins walk from the apartment is the brand new Thalassia Spa & 4* Hotel with its fantastic treatments & relaxation therapies open to all.
Parking & Integral Garage / Restaurant Facilities: General parking can be made at the front of the Aparthotel, however each apartment has its own garage allocation in the basement. This area is secured and fully accessible be a remote control key system with full stairs & lift access to the apartment floor.
The complex also boasts an integral restaurant & bar for use by residents & non-residents. The bar also provides a service to the sun terrace overlooking the communal pool area.
