About the property

This beautiful, new home is nestled on four large city lots in between Glacier National Park and Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort. The home features a large open floor plan with a beautiful extra-large island for hanging out with family and friends while cooking after a great powder day. Spectacular views of the Swan Range can be seen from every room, especially the open living room. This room features a tall, vaulted, 16 foot ceiling. A 600 year old tree trunk table with a glass top and handmade wooden chairs and adds character to the dinning area. Please feel free to count the rings and tell us how old you think the tree is!

The master bathroom has a beautiful tiled walk in shower and a comfortable bathtub great for soaking sore muscles after a long day of hiking or skiing. The master bedroom has a king size bed. The guest bedroom #1 has a triple bunk bed plus a queen size bed, sleeping 5. This room is great for a set of parents and three kids. The guest bedroom #2 has a queen bed as well as a loft bunk bed over a built-in desk, sleeping 3.

Outside the tall sliding glass door is a 600 square foot patio, great for hanging out and admiring the alpine glow in the evenings or enjoying a barbecue.

The large front yard is great for playing in the snow, building snow men, making snow angels, or just for kids to run around. If you are looking for a day off from skiing or a great thing to do after dark, our family loves driving to hole #14 on Meadowlake golf course. This is the best sledding hill in the valley yet remains a local secret and we rarely see anyone there.

In addition to being located in the middle of so many outdoor activities, one of our favorite attributes to our location is its proximity to great restaurants and groceries. All of the following are two to four blocks away: Three Forks Bar and Grill, Montana Coffee Traders, Base Camp Cafe, North Fork Pizza, Backslope Brewery & Restaurant, and Smith's Grocery Store. Just a short 5 minute drive will take you to the Restaurant at Meadowlake Resort.

Beautiful home!

We have done many vacation rentals through the years and this is one of the best we've stayed in. We had two families, with a total of 9 people. We slept comfortably with room to spread out. The home was very clean and had all kitchen items needed to fix meals easily.

Glacier NP is about a 25 minute drive. We spent 3 days visiting the park and loved having this home to come back to.

I'd recommend it for families or friends looking for a cozy, comfortable place to stay.

The house is convenient to stores and restaurants, being in the center of town off the main road (very quiet) on an oversized corner lot. Inside is an open floor plan with a master bedroom at the far end of this room and the other bedrooms near the front door (it is 1 floor). Our room (the master ) had a beautiful and roomy shower area in addition to a bathtub.. The other bedrooms have bunk beds and full size beds, so room for plenty of kids. I would think anyone would be happy with this house. .

Unfortunately we were there in late June (21st thru the 23rd) and the road to the Sun was closed past Avalanche due to snow. So we ending going to Flathead Lake which was a treat for the kids. They got to swim, kayak and paddleboard. Never heard of this lake, but it is huge. Bring your power boat.

Amazing Experience!

The house was beautiful! We especially enjoyed spending time in the dining/living/family room. Jaci was there when we arrived and took ample time to explain where everything was and how to operate everything - even though there were excellent written instructions in the emailed document.

Couldn't have been happier. Close to everything. Had a wedding at Great Northern resort and the house was large enough to accommodate our two families comfortably for some meet and greet time. Really loved having Smiths grocery store near by. Thanks Adam

A must stay!

If you plan to visit the Whitefish/Columbia Falls area this property is a MUST STAY. Adam and his wife did a beautiful job of making their home a mountain gem! He was prompt in responding to all my emails and answering all my questions regarding my trip out west which made planning on my end much easier! When we arrived at their property we felt as if we were arriving into a brand new house. The house was kept in immaculate condition, it was extremely clean, well stocked with nice towels and sheets and had a homey welcoming feel.

We spent a week out in Columbia Falls visiting Glacier National Park and this house was our base camp. Its located about 20 min from the West Entrance to Glacier National Park. The town of Columbia Falls itself its pretty small however they have a liquor store, great Italian Restaurant and awesome coffee shop within walking distance to their home, and a grocery store a mile up the street. If you want to experience more of a "ski" town feel you can drive 15 min into the town of Whitefish, which has shopping, restaurants and a bit of nightlife.

I recommend this property 100% with nothing negative to say. Staying here made our week away from home feel like we were home!

Very nice and very roomy for 3 adults and a dog

The bedrooms were roomy and the living room and kitchen area very large. The master bath is great. While I understand the need to lock the master bedroom closet, maybe a small rollaway rack to hang clothes on?

Other than that it was great. We enjoyed that Montana Coffee Traders and Three Forks Grille were walkable. The convenience to Glacier was great. We had a dog daycare close by so we dropped her off in the morning and we enjoyed the park.

I would recommend this property to anyone. It was quite clean also.
