Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday home in Columbia Falls

This beautiful, new home is nestled on four large city lots in between Glacier National Park and Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort. The home features a large open floor plan with a beautiful extra-large island for hanging out with family and friends while cooking after a great powder day. Spectacular views of the Swan Range can be seen from every room, especially the open living room. This room features a tall, vaulted, 16 foot ceiling. A 600 year old tree trunk table with a glass top and handmade wooden chairs and adds character to the dinning area. Please feel free to count the rings and tell us how old you think the tree is!

The master bathroom has a beautiful tiled walk in shower and a comfortable bathtub great for soaking sore muscles after a long day of hiking or skiing. The master bedroom has a king size bed. The guest bedroom #1 has a triple bunk bed plus a queen size bed, sleeping 5. This room is great for a set of parents and three kids. The guest bedroom #2 has a queen bed as well as a loft bunk bed over a built-in desk, sleeping 3.

Outside the tall sliding glass door is a 600 square foot patio, great for hanging out and admiring the alpine glow in the evenings or enjoying a barbecue.

The large front yard is great for playing in the snow, building snow men, making snow angels, or just for kids to run around. If you are looking for a day off from skiing or a great thing to do after dark, our family loves driving to hole #14 on Meadowlake golf course. This is the best sledding hill in the valley yet remains a local secret and we rarely see anyone there.

In addition to being located in the middle of so many outdoor activities, one of our favorite attributes to our location is its proximity to great restaurants and groceries. All of the following are two to four blocks away: Three Forks Bar and Grill, Montana Coffee Traders, Base Camp Cafe, North Fork Pizza, Backslope Brewery & Restaurant, and Smith's Grocery Store. Just a short 5 minute drive will take you to the Restaurant at Meadowlake Resort.

Very nice and very roomy for 3 adults and a dog

  • 5 of 5

The bedrooms were roomy and the living room and kitchen area very large. The master bath is great. While I understand the need to lock the master bedroom closet, maybe a small rollaway rack to hang clothes on?

Other than that it was great. We enjoyed that Montana Coffee Traders and Three Forks Grille were walkable. The convenience to Glacier was great. We had a dog daycare close by so we dropped her off in the morning and we enjoyed the park.

I would recommend this property to anyone. It was quite clean also.

Delightful! :)

  • 5 of 5

This home is very well cared for. The kitchen is sizeable and living spaces inviting. We discovered a delightful retreat area in the backyard which had hammock, couches, coffee table and candles--wonderful spot to enjoy after a day exploring Glacier Park!

Great place to stay with family

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 4 along with my parents and my brother stayed at this amazing house for a week to visit Glacier National Park. This was one of the best places we stayed at. The house is as shown. It has a great kitchen and nice bed rooms. It has beautiful views of the mountains.

The kitchen is fully equipped and the grill was nice to have. We made food at the house most nights to save on money. While we were staying the propane on the gas grill ran out and after calling up the numbers Adam provided, we got a new tank of propane that day.

This is a great location if you want to visit the West side of Glacier and Whitefish.

Our family would stay again and I recommend anyone with a big group stay at this place. It slept a group of 7 comfortably.

Beautiful home close to Glacier

  • 5 of 5

This home seems to have been recently remodeled. It is beautiful and met all of our needs! We loved the open concept kitchen and living room areas. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy! Kitchen had every appliance we needed and was very well stocked for our stay. Couldn't ask for anything nicer! Would definitely stay there again!

Great home located close to West Glacier

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 4, with two teenagers, had a great stay at this property. It is as advertised and is very spacious and in very good condition. Its a short walk or drive to restaurants and groceries and the town is a great place to stay. We enjoyed everyone we met there.

Be sure to get out and enjoy the park. We hiked Avalanche Lake, Trail of the Cedars, Numa Ridge Lookout, Swift Current Trail to Red Rock Falls and Bull Head Lake, Baring Falls, Aster Falls and lookout, Twin Falls, Eagle Falls, Bear Pond Trail, Virginia Falls and St. Mary Falls,

Food: We enjoyed North Fork Pizza, Belton Chalet, Backslope Brewing, Montana Coffee Traders and Base Camp Cafe. We also cooked in and took picnic lunches on our hikes. For great ice cream try Sweet Peaks in Whitefish.

Other Fun: Whitewater rafting with Ross of Glacier Guides Montana Raft. Also enjoyed ziplining at Glacier Ziplines - Katie and Aaron. Fishing with Paul Miller of State of Mind Fishing Charters.

A great place for a family vacation with lots of space indoors and out.

Great Rainy Weekend

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property even with the rain because of the comforts the home provided. It was well kept, clean, and welcoming. Caretaker of the property was very kind, understanding and courteous whenever we called to seek information or assistance

We were two families with 5 kids and the home was large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably without anyone one getting into each others space.Children enjoyed the entertainment the home provided in terms of karaoke, music system, TV, XBOX etc. Definitely will be our choice for a getaway next time we visit Montana.
