This spacious and warm restored 1890 apartment located on 1ST Fl is perfect for long term and short term guests. Located at 827 Woody St. On the corner of Woody St & N 2nd. Blocks from Downtown! Some noise due to a rail yard, not constant. Fully accommodating with private entry full kitchen with gas stove, Private bath has a powerful shower! Free WI-FI, Queen sized bed with memory foam mattress. The second bedroom has a twin bed plus bedding. Ample sunlight! Ideal location. Very close to all services all within walking distance! Enjoy in a minutes walk to the Kettlehouse Brew Pub, Draughtworks brew pub, ZACC Art Center, Stensrud Playhouse (live theater and improv comedy) Safe well-lit neighborhood, only three blocks to Downtown 1 mile to University, coffeehouse within walking distance. Antique furnishing and rugs very romantic space! The antique mall is within walking distance! This apartment is very inviting safe and comfortable and the location could not be better!
I've resided in Missoula for 14 years as a self-employed entrepreneur in the field of historic restoration. In 1999, I purchased a fully dilapidated 1890's elegant commercial building (Stensrud Building) set to be razed from a man named Merlin Stensrud I spent 14 years personally restoring the building and received an Excellence Award from the Montana Preservation Alliance. I sold this parcel in February of 2014. In 2008, I purchased the Rose Building around the corner from the Stensrud Building both being on the National Resister. I have spent the past 6 years restoring this building and am happy to make it available for the public's enjoyment. I am a self-taught musician who enjoys writing and performing. Music is my next determined focus as I will retire in the next 15 months! I am middle of the road politically and feel extremists are not open minded. Love to utilize the outdoors enjoy skiing and hiking biking and the like. Enjoy meaningful conversation. Tend to be philosophical and enjoy telling and listening to stories. I am very highly regarded in Missoula as a community builder and having a very strong work ethic. I find it easy to laugh and enjoy good food and drink.

I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm regarding historic restoration and the property offers me diversification I believe to be economically wise. The location to Downtown and the university is very accommodating. All City service within minutes of this location.
Tranquility blends with sophistication. This property allows the inhabitants a unique feeling of relaxation brought about by displaying art from around the world and a unique ambiance from lighting, there are lamps in each room. Powerful water pressure in the shower. Not much compares to this space in Missoula, and the location could not be more accommodating. The kitchen has a gas range and is fully supported. Approximately 600 Square Ft Located on 1ST Fl Bedrooms are on separate side of the entry hallway.
This apt was soooooh cozy, we spent alot of time there just relaxing. The location is perfect for walking anywhere we needed to be. Very clean and the bed was very comfy! We will return for sure!! Mark was very interesting to talk to! Really sweet building with alot of history!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stat at the property. Its a great little restored 1890s apartment with antique fixtures and lamps throughout. Clean, quiet and very convenient. Easy walking distance to downtown or the University. Experience completely exceeded my expectations. Owner is fantastic to work with and provides excellent service and communication. I would definitely recommend this and the owners other properties to friends and family...and I will efinitely stay with him again.

Notes for renting; Not handicap accessible due to stairs. Kitchen mostly furnished but no dishwasher or microwave.
Couldn't have asked for a better location, just blocks from downtown and an easy walk to restaurants, shopping, and the riverfront. Charming building and it was wonderful to get the historic context of the place from the host, who was on-site and responded quickly to any questions. Well-stocked kitchen and unique, warm decor.

I allow small pet (1) 50 pounds max, will require additional deposit but no increase in user fee. I provide most common items such as toiletries, kitchen utensils, pots and pans plates silverware.... I do have tenants below the Apartment shoes off policy to help keep noise and dirt to a minimum.
