Uptown cottage

Our stay was great. Neighborhood is very walkable. Shawna was immediately responsive to messages. Place was clean and comfortable.

Good Extended Stay for 2

My boyfriend and I stayed at this Vrbo for 8 nights. The cottage was very clean and in a fantastic and safe location just a block or two from lots of shops, restaurants, and cafes. It was quiet and the perfect size for a couple. Also, the host was very accommodating and responsive (within minutes) whenever we needed anything, so we really appreciated that as well.

There was not a list of anything, such as Wi-Fi info , laundry disposal, hygiene info!Communication with host was not good, I woke up every 10 mins with a bug in my face, trying to get in and out of the property was a hassle. I did not enjoy my stay. One thing good about the property was it was close to Magazine street.

Great location but needs some fixes

We were in town for a long weekend without a car and appreciated the location - on a quiet street, close to Magazine St. and coffee shops, and a short walk to a major grocery store. The cottage was nicely furnished, as advertised, although the patio seating was missing. Comfortable bed. We didn’t cook but it looked to have everything you’d need. A few issues - the central AC wasn’t working during our stay. Not a dealbreaker since it was only mid-80s but any hotter would have been an issue with only a single window unit for 3 rooms. Also would have been good to have been told that in advance to save the time we spent trying to figure it out our first night. Ceiling fan in bedroom also not working. Bath mat looked like it hadn't been washed in some time and towels were stained. Multiple broken blinds. Needs a little TLC.
