We are 2 families who have spent many years enjoying Copper Mountain skiing as a family with the wonderful ski in-out location. Beautiful hiking and mountain activities for the family at the resort both winter and summer. We love the great outdoors lifestyle of the Rocky Mountains.

Copper Mountain is an excellent ski mountain. It is in a perfect spot in Summit County to enjoy the all the different ski resorts, many winter and summer activities. There are numerous mountain towns close by and some of the best skiing that Colorado has to offer. East Village is a quiet location and the super bee lift outside the front door.

Great Location, Nice Condo, No Hot Tub

We spent a full week at Copper Mountain for the first time ever and loved every minute of it. The condo met our needs perfectly and was literally steps from the Super Bee lift. The only thing we missed was soaking in a hot tub at the end of the day. There is a hot tub in the rec center near by but the reviews stated it was overpriced and very small. Overall, we had an amazing week with our kids and would do it again in a heart beat.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review. Our condo homeowners association has a proposal for a hot tub, BBQ deck area. Hoping the HOA will move forward with it because we all love a warm hot tub after a fun filled day of skiing.

better for a single family or grown kids

The location was amazing and incredibly convenient. We had 2 infants and 3 adults sharing the space. It was a little tight and inconveniently laid out to have 2 babies napping on different schedules. There is a frosted glass cube window separating the 2 bedrooms, so light/sound passes through easily. The second bedroom is pretty much connected to the living space, so it was hard to have a baby napping in there while other people were awake and milling about. We LOVED the location and thoroughly took advantage of the ski in/out convenience. Parking was easy and great. We would definitely use this location again!

Very smooth rental experience, great location for skiing Copper. Enjoyed being close to the tubing hill, JJ's bar/restaurant, slopes, and Woodward. Two bathrooms a bonus! Family of four had a great time.

Good condo for the price, owner easy to work with

This condo has its pro's and con's. We have a family of 5, 3 young boys, and stayed over Christmas Break. Copper Mountain is not as crowded over Christmas as other ski resorts we have stayed at. Here are the pro's/con's of this condo (in our opinion):

Pro's- owner great to work with, Cody-building manager is prompted to fix whatever is wrong-great manager! Well stocked with paper towels and toilet paper. Very close to ski rentals (Christy Sports), comfortable beds and couch, kitchen is well stocked, great ski locker, close to JJ's (average food at best) and Double Diamond Bar and Grill (good food and better service). Endo's restaurant in Center village is our favorite! free firewood and lots of it, easy to get to Super Bee lift and navigate over to Center Village and avoid the shuttle, close to shuttle stop and guest services

Cons-condo is tight-not much privacy, 2nd bedroom isnt really a "bedroom", fireplace needs serviced or cleaned (a lot of smoke, even with the flue open, you have to close the glass doors), bring a lighter and fire starter! Only a couple matches in the condo (I left my lighter for the next renters) NO ice maker (?) there are ice cube trays though, shower heads are the WORST! (need to upgrade to something better), not very much closet space, only 1 elevator that is kinda slow (easier to take the stairs, if not carrying anything heavy), parking spot is not in heated garage, so word to the wise, start your car every other day.

This condo is basically average, good for the price, not great, not bad. Location is excellent, nice and quiet, but Center Village would probably be best if you want to ski more greens/easy blues, closer to restaurants/shops, but also more expensive.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to give a review of your stay in Copper Mountain. We take pride in our vacation family home. Wanted to address a few of your concerns. The HOA cleans the fireplace flues every year so it is important to open the flues before you start a fire. The instructions are on the side of the fireplace. Lighter is kept in the kitchen drawers but for safety sake we don't keep matches in the condo. Planning on upgrading the refrigerator with an ice maker and larger shower heads in the off season. As far as the second bedroom, that is the floor plan for the 2 bedroom condos in the whole Snowflake building. We will be doing some modifications to put a door in and not the folding door again in the off season. We try to keep our rates very reasonable for the excellent location. Access to Copper Mountain's Super B lift

Owner was easy to work with - granted a later check-out time, which was a big help.

If you are looking for a place next to the super B and don't want to break the bank, this may work for you.

For a guys trip where I was on the slopes all day and out at night, this worked just fine.

First time snow boarders

We loved, loved the location of this condo. We could literally walk 50 steps to JJ's for a snack or adult beverage and some great live music, equipment rental & new equipment or souvenir purchases, or to catch a shuttle to Center or West Village and Woodward. Sooo convenient! The condo was perfect size for 6 people even though the second bathroom sink area is not private, it works fine for a few days, just be sure to bring your robe. We had an issue with lighting that was remedied immediately by the owners/condo mgmt and they were fun and easy to rent from. Highly recommend this condo!

It's over 19,000 square feet and dedicated to park and pipe progression. They provide a safe learning environment and in conjunction with great fun. Woodward also offers camps and programs year round. Copper Tubing Hill, Ice Skating, Cross-Country Skiing Center, Fishing, Sleigh Ride, Horseback Riding, Wildlife Viewing. Athletic Center-3 hot tubs, indoor pool, 2 steam rooms, 2 saunas, 2 workout areas, massages, racquetball courts, indoor running track $10. Also ski Close By - Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, A-Basin, Keystone. Visit Frisco, Lake Dillon, Silverthorne (Factory Outlet Malls). Some areas offer free shuttle service from Copper. You can't be any closer to the ski lift and mountain.
