Quercy house of character, classified 4 stars (national classification of furnished tourism) and 4 ears (Gîtes de France), clear and bright, well equipped, decorated with care. 5 spacious bedrooms, sleeps 12, 200 m2 in 3 levels, with wood burner in large fireplace, covered terrace, private garden of 1400 m2 with trees and flowers, private pool secured by alarm (9.5mx4.5m), bowling alley and large barn equipped with games room (ping-pong, table football, children's games, table with 8 chairs, etc.), parking in front of the house.

Former wine house, enlarged and embellished by a pigeon in the late nineteenth century, the house was completely restored and refurbished in 2011-2013.

Furnished and decorated in the traditional style of the country, with quality amenities, the house can accommodate comfortably and pleasantly to 12 people, in a very quiet environment.

The house is located in the countryside (meadows, woods) in a hamlet overlooking the Lot Valley, east of Quercy.

The area is cheerful and welcoming, tourist and gastronomic. It is ideal for walks (on foot, horseback, bicycle, canoe, car) and offers a variety of tourist attractions located less than an hour away.

Beatifully restored, beautiful location

Our party of 6, including Grandparents and Grandchildren, loved the spaciousness of this property, its grounds, and especially the pool. The house is situated in a small hamlet in the Lot valley and has been beautifully restored by its owner Michel. Michel was a very friendly and helpful host and while living close by in the hamlet, never intruded on our stay.

The house provided for a variety of sleeping arrangements and was well stocked with everything to make our stay comfortable. After a morning exploring the towns snd sights of the Lot valley, it was great to come back and relax around the pool. Our Grandchildren enjoyed the games equipment provided in the barn, but perhaps some pool toys/equipment could have also been provided. We really appreciated Michel's advice and recommendations regarding places to visit.

Lovely, large house in the Lot valley.

We had a wonderful time at this house. It is set in a lovely garden in very peaceful surroundings - woodpeckers in the trees, complete quiet at nights. There's a great balcony for eating and fine views, and the rivers Lot and Cele are a short drive away - lots of fantastic swimming opportunities. Great hosts too - Michel was very helpful.

Zeer mooie locatie en infrastructuur.

Terwijl wij genoten van de rust en de natuur

konden onze kids genieten van het zwembad en de speelschuur.

Een echte aanrader voor groepen met kinderen.

Demeure de charme idéale pour des familles

Très belle propriété de caractère très bien équipée pour recevoir des familles .

L'endroit est très calme et très bien placé en surplomb de la vallée du Lot.

Amateurs de vacances nature, nous avons été comblé malgré une météo mitigée entrecoupée de journées ensoleillées et de temps humide.

Sejour très agreable

Gîte loué pour passer Noël en famille.

Bâtisse magnifiquement restaurée et meublée avec goût dans l'esprit du lieu sans avoir oublié les équipements nécessaires au confort journalier. Il y a tout ce qu il faut, même 2 frigo-congélateurs pour faire face à une grande tribu.

L'étage à vivre est bien distribué chacun pouvant trouver sa place : très joli recoin pour les jeux de société des enfants, vaste salle à manger conviviale, cuisine ouverte moderne et un salon douillet !

La Grange offre une immense salle de jeux pour les enfants (non chauffée donc un peu limité à cette saison mais la température n a pas empêché quelques parties de ping pong et babyfoot.)

La région est doucement vallonnée avec de multiples villages et sites à visiter.

Mr et Mme Henin sont très accueillants et fournissent tous les conseils que vous souhaitez sur la région.

Seul regret... la saison hivernale ne nous a pas permis de pleinement profiter des extérieurs: un grand balcon bien aménagé, le boulodrome, la piscine. Le gîte ne doit en être que plus agréable à la belle saison !

Location

Car: necessary

Road access:

The hamlet of Causse du Mas is situated on the left bank of the Lot, near the D922 which connects Figeac (12 km north) and Villefranche-de-Rouergue (25 km south).

If you come from Paris, take the A20 until exit 56 (La Bastide-Murat), then head towards Figeac.

If you come from Toulouse, take the A20 until exit 59 (Caussade), then take the direction of Villefranche-de-Rouergue.

It will take several trips to overcome the impressive range of activities, recreation, walks, etc. that the region offers!
