The location of the apartment in the ancient and lordly part of the city, close to the Plaza of the Town hall, makes it ideal to enjoy the FALLAS. It is far only 100 meters of the famous and indispensable “Mercado Central”, market where to enjoy the magnificent products of the Valencian garden. La “Lonja de la Seda”, maximum exponent of the Civil Gothic and Heritage of the Humanity, of obliged visit, is equally to 100 meters. In the Plaza of the Town hall it is necessary not to lose the building of Post office of beginning of the 20th century.

Close to the apartment are located Bus stands for the most important urban lines, also taxi stands, and Metro stations. Also near there are stations of Public Bike rental called “Valenbisi”.

In the proximities, just only five minutes walking, you’ll find the principal commercial districts, department store and supermarkets. Also nearby is “Barrio del Carmen” a Neighbourhood famous for his intense night life and his wide culinary offer where to taste excellent local paellas, rices, tapas and all kinds of international cuisine.

Charming and flirtatious flat of 140 M2, located in the same downtown to only 100 meters of “Plaza del Ayuntamiento” (Town Hall Square).

Placed in a lordly building of beginning of the 20th Century, the apartment, though totally reformed, it supports the atmosphere and the captivation of the 20th. The reform has fully respected the heights and original mouldings of the ceiling, as well as the soil of the pressed colourist ceramic of the period.

Placed in the sixth floor of the building, it is luminous, silent and has lift.

The apartment has five rooms, with capacity for seven persons, lounge-dining room, kitchen(cuisine), two complete baths and terrace where to enjoy relaxing breakfasts or dinners and the magnificent views of the city skyline.

Among the equipment is necessary to emphasize the induction kitchen, fridge, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle, heating, TV, audio equipment, Wifi, safety door, etc. Certainly clothes of bed and towels for bath are provided. Also it has a complete service of mini-bar, with prices apart.

A clean well maintained traditional property.

We were two families all adults celebrating my sons 21st birthday weekend. The apartment was exceptionally spacious. It was well maintained and towels were provided. Correspondence with Isabel was perfect. Tourist Information and basic snacks to purchase in the fridge were vital for our late flight arrival. The apartment was central right near the market. We purchased the 48 hr red bus tour on line before arrival. We did the historical route the first day and the maritima route the second day with half the party visiting the oceanographic and the other half the beach. Perfect tapas bars all around us and right out of the apartment turn right 20 meters the birra and blues bar serving real cask ale was a true find and the Spanish bar next door did an excellent set menu for 11 euros. We ate there and somewhere different each day. All places were perfect. The market was impressive and the plazas drinking wine and eating tapas in the sunshine were bliss. A perfect base to explore Valencia.

zentrale Lage und doch ruhig.

Die Wohnung hat uns gut gefallen. Prima für eine Städtereise. Sie ist sauber, geräumig, gut ausgestattet und es gibt quasi ein Minibar in der Küche.

Die Vermieterin, Isabel, ist freundlich und kooperativ. Wir durften am Abreisetag noch in der Wohnung bleiben, weil der Flug erst mittags ging.

Close to the “Barrio del Carmen”, it is necessary to pay a visit to the Cathedral with its three doors (Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque), its famous tower “El Miguelete” where to enjoy a breathtaking views of Valencia skyline. Also the “Basilica de la Virgen de los Desamparados” (Mistress of the city) deserves a visit. At only five minutes walk is located the “Palacio de la Generalitat” (Also Gothic) and the “Torres de Serranos” and the “Torres de Quart”, which are the former doors of the Medieval city wall. Also near the flat are the “Banos del Almirante” which were the baths of the admirals of the fleet of old medieval Muslim Kingdom of Valencia. There you will enjoy an excellent audiovisual introduction. Also near are located the rest of the old Roman and Visigoth Valencia.

Talking about museums, it is necessary to mention the “IVAM” (Valencia Institute of Modern Art), The “San Pio V”, second best museum in Spain and famous because of its Gothic paints, specially on wood. Also very interesting is the “Museo Nacional de Ceramica”, with a remarkable stone door and a Amazing performance which recreates the daily life of the high nobel of the XVIIIth Century.

Any excuse is good to make an excursion to the nearby towns, all of them are well conected by wide and efficient railroad network. The central station, so called “Estación del Norte”, just a five minutes walk from the flat, is itself a remarkable building of early the 20th. Some of these places are Cullera, Xativa, Requena, Lliria, Gandia and many others.
