Ideal for golfers, walkers, families wanting a quiet beach holiday, or those wanting sun, sea and shopping. Close to Murcia and Alicante airports.

Beaches: There are numerous beautiful beaches along the coast, all well maintained, with golden sand and clear water. The nearest to Las Ramblas is La Glea, which is well furnished with a cafe, foot showers, children's climbing frame, and shady areas. The Mar Menor is just 15km away, with its clear, warm and shallow water, ideal for small children.

Jazz on a summer evening!: The San Javier Jazz Festival takes place in July each year, at a beautiful outdoor auditorium. 2013 featured a great lineup including Renegade Creation, Dana Fuchs & Keb Mo, among others. San Javier is about 15 minutes by car from Las Ramblas. More info is available on the website, please do not hesitate to contact owner for further information or website link.

Meteors!: In mid-August every year there's a great spectacle of shooting stars, the Perseid meteor shower. You'll have a great view from the roof terrace, if it's a clear night. The meteors will be easiest to see when the Moon has set after midnight and the sky is dark. You don't even need a telescope, just lie back on the deckchairs and enjoy the show. Check for the exact dates which may vary slightly each year. The Perseids is one of the best meteor showers to observe, producing up to 30 meteors per hour at their peak. Look up towards the North-East from midnight onwards on the nights of August 11th, 12th and 13th . The peak of activity is predicted to be in the hours before dawn. The moon may provide some interference in the evening, but after it sets, the morning hours should provide some spectacular viewing opportunities. (Source: Jodrell Bank website).

Our second visit here prompted by the wonderful holiday that we enjoyed last year. We had a fabulous break and enjoyed the comfortable surroundings of 1018 Las Ramblas. This year we explored further and enjoyed the Mar Menor where we covered ourselves in the volcanic mud much to the amusement of the kids. We also enjoyed jaunts in the car to San Miguel and San Pedro and the wonderful beach at Campoamar. Yes we will be back next year.

Kitchen area contains luxury fitted kitchen with marble worktops, fridge/freezer, electric cooker and ceramic hob, electric kettle, toaster, microwave/grill, dishwasher, iron. Crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils. Utility area with boiler and washing machine. Marble breakfast bar facing the living/dining area. Wooden dining table with four wooden chairs, table mats, standard lamp. Living area contains sofa, 2 armchairs, TV with British satellite connection (6 channels), hi-fi, ceiling fan/light and air conditioning unit. Marble floors throughout. Sliding doors to balcony, with table and four chairs for outside dining. Steps from balcony to roof terrace, (toddlers will need supervising!), with 1 sun lounger and 3 deck chairs, Beautiful views from balcony and roof terrace, over pool area and pine-covered slopes. Great for star-gazing at night! Roof terrace has a light, and electric socket.

Another enjoyable holiday

My husband and myself have rented this apartment for the last 3 years and have thoroughly enjoyed our stays which have usually been at the beginning of September. This year we visited in May and can thoroughly recommend any time of the year to visit.The apartment is clean, tidy and well stocked with everything that you could possibly want. It still looks as fresh and clean as it did the first time we visited. All the information given is accurate. The owner is very helpful with any queries and very prompt to reply to any communication. The management company are very approachable if you have a query while you are there. The surrounding area is well maintained and clean, and I especially like the fact that the apartment is within a secure gated area. The golfing facilities are very good aswell. The communal pool is excellent as are the local beaches (less than 4 kms away) and there is plenty to see and do locally. This year our two daughters and their boyfriends (all in their 20's) came and visited us at different times during our stay. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves, a feat which isn't always possible with younger people. We all enjoyed visiting the bars and restaurants a few minutes walk up the road. They especially liked the bar/restaurant up the road that had free wi fi internet access. All you had to do was take your laptop or i phone up there and buy a drink !!! For the people that don't have the technology with them there is access to the internet (for a small charge) in the Spa shop within the area of the bars restaurants and shops. Very useful when you are in Spain during the "Ash Cloud" problem.... It now remains for my husband and myself to start saving up again for our next visit to this apartment, which hopefully will be next year. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this apartment and the surrounding area to anyone. It is ideal for all ages.

Clean and Beautiful, Ideal Location.

Beautiful, Clean and well equipped apartment.

My husband and I along with our two children were lucky enough to stay at this beautiful apartment for 2 weeks.

From the first point of contact Frances was very amenable to our needs and efficient.

The apartment was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished.

We were very well looked after by David and his team. The kettle was not working and as soon as he found out he replaced it with a brand new one immediately, nothing was too much trouble.

The apartment was very well equipped and its location was ideal.

This apartment is definitely on our list of places to return to.

Thank you Frances for letting us hire your beautiful apartment.

An Amazing Holiday

This is a well proportioned, clean,well equipped and well maintained apartment situated on a lovely golf complex within walking distance of supermarkets, bars,restaurants, entertainment and banks. A car is needed to get to the nearby beaches which takes under 10 minutes. The beaches are clean with cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. For the more energetic there is the facility just up the road from the complex to hire out bicycles for the day. All in all this accommodation is suitable for all ages, and for those wanting either a relaxing holiday or an active one. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this accommodation to anyone. The owner and management company are all very friendly and helpful.

Golfing holiday

4 mates on a golf holiday: Perfect location, spotless apartment. Owner very helpful in the time leading up to our vacation, didn't need to contact her while in Spain.

Golfing tips: Los Ramblas is a hard course for experienced players. Campoamor was good, didn't play Villamartin. Roda Golf was the best one we played. Will also recommend "Golf Factory" which is just up the road from the apartment, on the other side of the Cabo Roig strip. Great service and discounted green fees.

Holiday in Las Ramblas 2011

My family and I recently spent a 3 week holiday during Jan/Feb 2011 in Las Ramblas and we had a wonderful time in a beautiful Golf resort.

The initial booking process and support received from the apartment owner was fantastic; including very clear and concise directions from San Javier Murcia airport which is only a 20 minute drive to Las Ramblas.

The apartment was in a pristine condition on arrival. On inspection, everything was very clean, tidy, well presented and obviously well maintained. Notably, the fixtures and fittings are all of a very standard including the en-suite, main bathroom and kitchen area. The two double bedrooms are a decent size and the open plan living room is also very spacious and beautifully furnished. I was also impressed with the quality of the kitchen accessories and cookware. In addition, there is a terrace area with a table and chairs and a large solarium area upstairs.

The apartment is beautifully situated in a rural setting within a small gated residence about 100 metres from the main entrance of Las Ramblas. Within a very short (5 minutes) walk of the apartment is the La Fuenta shopping complex which has a supermarket, pharmacy, bars, restaurants and cafes. The Stray Sod Irish bar is located within this same complex and offers excellent food, drinks and live music every evening.

I agree with the owners' description that this is a 'Luxury' apartment.

I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment

This year in August we spent unforgettable fortnight holiday.

Everything was prepered like Frances discribed at her internet offer.

We'd got a phone number to person we could contact in case of emergancy.

The apartment was very comfortable for our family (2 children - 6 nad 8

years old, 2 adults), tidy and really fully equipped.

Common swimming pool nicely situated and cleaned every evening.

We were amazed by the beautiful surrondigs, especially by the golf course

of Las Ramblas with green lawns.

The largest market in the area called MERCADONA was in walking distance

from the apartment and was very good supplies.

It's true that ant's are ubiquitous, but we only need to use some

insecticide (provided) putting them near each entrance of the apartment and

the problem was solved for few days.

We can recommend Frances apartment in all conscience.

Situated in exclusive gated resort on the famous Las Ramblas golf course, this 1st-floor apartment has beautiful views over a pine-covered slope. There is ample car parking directly in front of the apartment. An air-conditioned supermarket with underground parking is just 10 minutes away on foot. There are numerous beaches, restaurants and bars all within 10 minutes' drive. The stunning Mar Menor beaches are within 15 minutes' drive. From the apartment are delightful walks along the Cartagena canal which runs through Las Ramblas. For shopping, there is a new shopping centre at La Zenia, 10 minutes drive away. For culture vultures, the beautiful town of Murcia is 45 minutes' drive, with its historic cathedral and squares, a fine art museum and museum dedicated to the sculptor Salzillo. And great shops! For children, as well as beaches there is the Aquopolis Water Park near Torrevieja, and the amazing Terra Mitica theme park near Benidorm.

Golf: The golf course at Las Ramblas is short but beautifully landscaped and quite challenging. The clubhouse is brand-new and quite magnificent, with a beautiful bar, restaurant and conference room. Close by are two other courses, Campoamor and Villamartin. All have 18 holes, with putting and chipping greens and practice areas. There are several other courses slightly further away, including the famous La Manga resort about 30 minutes' drive from Las Ramblas.
