About the property

Welcome to Penne d'Agenais, a superbly preserved medieval walled-town set on top of a high hill overlooking the Lot valley. Entering the top of the village through the norther gate "La porte de Ferracap", the neat and tidy gite, in country-stone and brick, is found a short way down the narrow, charming and classic medieval street where lies a little corner or Paradise. Excellent for either a short stopover or a longer stay, it features a lounge with a kitchen area and a shower room, with wc, on the ground floor.Upstairs, is one bedroom mezzanine with 2 simples beds and a separate bedroom with a double bed.An exceptional view from the gite displays the medieval inheritance of the old town and the hilly countryside of Lot et Garonne.

You have one private space outside with bbq and louge garden to sip your coffee,or tea or apero surrounded by the ancient stones of the citadel of Penne.

Beautiful location, well equipped and charming hostess

  • 5 of 5

Set in a beautiful medieval small stone village, walking distance distance to restaurants. Comfortable little village house with a beautiful view. Very well equipped and clean. Hostess is helpful, friendly and charming.

Draw backs to the village is bakery not within walking distance and WiFi/data reception is poor. I would definite stay again - fond memories :)

Excellent séjour

  • 5 of 5
