Monterosso al Mare - CASA DEL PESCATORE is a beautiful newly constructed free standing house, not an apartment building, designed by an architect, centrally located, very private and quiet.
It’a a complete package of comfort and location, ideally situated for exploring all that the 5 TERRE area has to offer.
Its located in the old village ( historical centre ) at the biginning of the famous hiking BLUE TRAIL along the coast to the 5 TERRE, just 30 meters from the sandy main beaches ( free or equipped ) in the heart of Monterosso, 2 minutes to the pier where boats leave for the other villages, 10 minutes to the train station and walking distance to Monterosso’s attractions: restaurants, bars, shops, markets, main square where you can also enjoy an aperitivo..
It’s divided in 2 floors:
LOWER LEVEL – Living room fitted with flat-screen TV, bathroom with shower and free toiletries, small-fully equipped kitchen with appliances, cookwake, dinneware and all of the culinary items needed for your stay, washing machine. Laundry facilities are also inluded.
Interior stairs lead to the sleeping area
1ST LEVEL - 2 bedrooms have king mattress that can be converted to 2 twins ( on request ).
WI-FI, air conditioning / heating system in both floors.
This house has a charmingly ligurian character and is perfect to accommodate couples, singles,or families of 3 or 4 to return year after year to enjoy all of the best of 5 Terre.
Owners are locals and live here, ready to help you 24/7 If you need anything before, douring or after your stay.

Perfect Location and friendly host

Our host was absolutely lovely, and was there to answer any questions we had. Accommodation was in a great location and near to the beach, train, shops and hike path. Lots of room for a family of four, with good facilities to make the odd meal. Would definitely recommend

Fabulous location, easy walking from train station with luggage

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights as a base for Cinque Terre. The walking distance from the train station to the apartment is really easy, a couple of steps but all the way flat unlike where some other apartments are located in different villages. Plus the start of the walk from Monterossa to Vernazza is pretty much 5 steps from the apartment. The apartment is very spacious and very clean with 2 large bedrooms, refrigerator and cooking provisions if needed but we ate out as there are restaurants on the doorstep. Mariagrazia the owner was lovely and provided very easy instructions to get us to her shop and was also very generous in allowing luggage storage on the day of departure if needed. I would definitely recommend both the apartment and staying in Monterosso as part of a Cinque Terre holiday.

Even better than the photos!

We stayed in the house for a few days at the end of summer. It was more spacious than the photos illustrate and more modern too :) The bedrooms are both a good size with lots of storage space. The only improvement would have been if a couple of basic amenities were provided such as cooking oil and more than one loo role etc but of course that's just being picky! The little house is 2 mins walk from the old town's shops, bars and restaurants and is a ten min walk along the coast to the train station. I'd 100% recommend staying with Maria who is lovely & flexible on check-in/check-out times. Thank you!

Oor wee hoose in the Cinque Terre

Mariagrazia's house is everything the advert says. The location is fantastic. Monterosso is a gorgeous place and we think the best of the villages. The only minus was the stair way to the bedrooms. It was a bit precarious. The kitchen was well equipped but we only had coffee as there are so many good places to eat nearby. Pat Drew Annie and Matt
