Pas au Loup A10, offered by Alps Accommodation Samoens, is an exclusive chalet style luxury apartment, opposite the Grand Massif Express lift and 5 minutes flat walk to the centre of Samoens. The apartment is in one of the most sought after locations in Samoens - a quiet location with breathtaking views. Opposite are a bakery, pizzeria and sports and equipment shop. Just 300m away are Samoens lakes and swimming pool (summer).

Fully equipped with luxury and comfort in mind, it has under floor heating, two TVs, DVDs, WiFi, music system, games console, washing machine, dishwasher and full size oven with ceramic hobs. The accommodation has its own secure underground parking and ski lockers.

Arranged over 2 floors, sleeping up to 9 people, in extremely spacious split level living. On the ground floor there is an open plan kitchen, living and dining area, with French doors opening onto the balcony equipped with table and chairs. 2 of the bedrooms, a double and a twin, and a family bathroom with washing machine are also located on this level. The stairs lead up to a stunning lounge area with plenty of seating including 3 armchairs, a large leather sofa and a separate sofa bed. Leading off, is a second balcony with deckchairs to take in the afternoon sun, due to its south westerly aspect. Also on this level is the 3rd bedroom, a beautiful king size bedroom which can be arranged also as a twin or triple with prior notice. Next to this is the shower room with wc, sink and heated towel rail.

Winter: The Grand Massif is the 4th largest ski area in France and has one of the lowest lift to beds ratios…so much smaller queues than other well know resorts.

Samoens offers some fantastic alternative activities in the winter, so if you are a non-skier there are plenty of other exciting things to take part in, why not try snow shoeing for example...a fantastic experience after which you can enjoy a delicious Savoyard meal in a Yurt on the side of the mountain!

Summer: Samoens is thriving in summer and offers a truly excellent holiday destination for family activities. With average temperatures in the mid to late 20s and numerous activities on our doorstep, it's a holiday not to be missed. With the Grand Massif Express lift now open in summer, you can easily enjoy: Mountain biking, hiking, climbing, rafting and other river activities, quad biking, horse riding, canyoning, swimming in lakes, adventure parks, parapenting, archery, golf, historic tours, botanical gardens, waterfalls, nature reserve, wildlife walks, kids club etc... These are all within 5 minutes of Samoens! A little further afield is Annecy, Geneva and Chamonix Mont Blanc. If this is all too much, then simply relax in the numerous cafes and even at the beaches that surround the local lakes. It’s not essential to drive, but in summer a car is useful and we are only 8 hours drive from Calais. Airport transfers can also be provided and a taxi service operates in Samoens.

This spectacular ski and summer resort is protected and hence hasn’t been spoilt by tourism. Samoens has been awarded a ‘Coq d’Or’ for being one of the prettiest villages in France and is the only ski resort classified by the Caisse des Monuments Historiques. The villages are full of character and charm with quaint streets, yet still provides the centre for almost every outdoor activity imaginable. Based in the beautiful valley of the Giffre river, the area provides spectacular scenery including mountain lakes, national parks and botanical gardens plus amazing wildlife and just minutes up the road at Sixt Fer a Cheval are over a dozen enormous waterfalls. It has a great deal to offer for families and individuals of all ages seeking adventure or alternatively just sheer relaxation.

There are numerous excellent restaurants in Samoens, including bistros, gourmet, traditional French Savoyard and Pizzerias. A range of cafes, bars and numerous shops cater for all your needs.

Golf: There are some fantastic golf courses within easy reach of Samoens, the nearest being Les Gets at only 10km away. You can enjoy a round of golf on an excellent course whilst enjoying spectacular views of Mont Blanc in the back ground. Also nearby we have Flaine golf course and a little further away, but still within 1 hour drive from Samoens there is Chamonix golf course.

Ski: The apartment is perfectly situated for your skiing holiday. All equipment can be hired from the sports shop opposite and ski school, etc., booked. Samoens is part of the Grand Massif, one of the largest ski areas in Europe. It is made up of Flaine, Morillon, Les Carroz, Sixt and Samoens. It offers extensive skiing and snowboarding, with a great snow record which is one of the best in the Alps. There are numerous reds and black runs locally and of course over in Flaine, where experts are well catered for. The piste - Consists of 14 black runs, 51 red runs, 53 blue runs, 15 green runs and 116 snow canons. Samoens ski area starts at 1600m, so a reliable base for good snow. Also, Samoens now has a new high speed 6 seater lift (the Chariande Express) which allows skiers and snowboarders to get to the Tete de Saix 3 times quicker than before!
