Beautiful home in a great location

My family had a fantastic week in this beautiful Floridian style waterfront home. Great location and only 7 blocks from the beach which is fabulous and not as busy as near to the pier. The home is very spacious with a great layout and is decorated in a very comfortable welcoming way. Good size bedrooms, the master was delightful with a lovely view, good size walk in wardrobes and bathroom.Good TV set up, which we watched the Olympics on as we were there in August, and Sonos system for listen to music throughout the home and pool. Huge garage to keep the car cool stocked with all the beach essential and our personal favourite the bikes, which the owner kindly lets you use. I hadn't ridden a bike for years but the relaxing cycle to the beach in the mornings and back again for the sunsets at night became a family favourite. The outside space was large and well stocked with comfortable sun chairs and a lovely table and chairs for alfresco dining. The pool was clean and inviting and a good size. The decking was in need of a little repair here and there but it did not spoil our enjoyment of the pool. Another way to see the amazing Naples sunsets is from the pool area, it really is beautiful. Aqualane Shores is a lovely area to stay, however, when we were there building work seemed to be everywhere which was a shame but we did visit in the quiet seasons. This home is great and I would recommend it to friends and family and would defiantly stay there again myself. Thanks to the owners for letting us share their lovely home.

Very comfortable & well appointed

Our holiday was the reuslt of a plan to meet our daughter who lives & works in Lima, Peru. Well it turns out Lima is 5.5 hours from Miami & London is nearer 8 hours but it was well worth the effort. The house is very comfortably furnished and equipped, air conditioned throughout, which was essential in temperatures of 90 degrees + and humididty to match. All the bedrooms were either en suite or had exclusive use of a bathroom and the kitchen was adequately equipped with most everything you would need to self cater. The pool was very clean and in good order however the pool cleaning device was on for most of the day and proved to be an obstruction when swimming. The surround was equipped with 4 sun loungers with more in the garage and the whole area was enclosed in a lania which kept out 100% of the bugs.

Information on where to go, what to do was a bit scant so an update there would be good. Overall we were very pleased although a little disappointed that we hadn't been informed that the house opposite was in the process of reconstruction - often noisy, always early!

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed your stay. We encourage all our guests to contact us immediately if there is anything that we can do to make their stay more enjoyable. Would have been happy to have had pool sweep removed for more pleasant swimming. Appreciate your suggestion to expand the list of activities in addition to the folder provided which lists our favorite restaurants/local activities, plus the brochure from the Chamber of Commerce on Things to Do in Naples. We are always striving to improve our guests' stay! Hopefully the construction will be long gone when you come back for your next visit to Naples. We look forward to seeing you and your family again soon! Best wishes - Kim

Beautiful home, close to the beach and nice restaurants.

We stayed here for a week in June/July, 2 adults and 3 children. The house was nicer than it looked like on the pictures.

Great outdoor area with screened pool and grill. Bicycles provided, only 2-3 minutes down to the beach which was not crowded at all, stunning sunsets!

The owner responded to all our questions quickly, provided a childcrib and highchair at our request.

We had a really nice stay and would love to com back.

Great place!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed this home for a long weekend and had a four day stay. The house is beautifully decorated and is located close to everything. We went with another couple and really liked the floor plan of the house. We each had our own side of the house which gave each couple more privacy. The backyard has great views and a lovely pool so we enjoyed breakfast every morning there. Our favorite part was bicycling to the beach or town which as only a few minutes away. When we go back to Naples this is the house we will rent for sure!

Olde Naples at its best!

  • 5 of 5

The PERFECT place for our two months in Naples--this lovely home had such great living space and the open concept was perfect for entertaining. The house was so comfortable and decorated in such a tasteful and charming way. When walking through the front door for the first time it feels like Olde Florida at its best!

We spent many evenings at the table on the lanai enjoying a glass of wine while the sun was setting and also enjoyed riding the bicycles straight down 18th to the beach for the sunset. The location of this home is unbeatable--whether walking to the Farmers Market on Saturday or riding bikes to the beach or to dinner we loved being so close to all the action on Third Street.

The owners were welcoming and quickly addressed any requests we made during our stay. We would be returning again if we hadn't pulled the trigger and purchased a home while we were there! All in all, a definite A++ for this gorgeous home!

P.S. Our corgi, Cooper, made his daily walk around the perimeter of the pool searching for little lizards--he loved chilling out on the lanai too!

Perfect Home Away from Home in BEAUTIFUL Olde Naples. - Don't hesitate - stay here!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a 10 day vacation to enjoy all that Olde Naples has to offer. The owner's have left the house stocked with all things necessary for a comfortable home away from home. Our family is native to Naples and was sad to move away. Now we look for an authentic home, full of all the charm that we knew this area to have when we ourselves lived here. This home has every inch of that charm. The family room is cozy and perfect, situated just off of the kitchen, which is well stocked with all the gear you need to make any meals you'd like. Our favorite was the pass-through to the outside lanai, key to any *real* Naples home. The screened in pool was perfect for our three children. It was well maintained and very clean. We have traveled the world, but say the Olde Naples beaches, which are a good walk or short bike ride way, are our favorite. The owners were quick to respond to any questions in prep and during our visit. We visited with three children, who all stayed comfortably in the guest room. The master was perfect with a king bed and plenty of room room to move around as well as a beautiful view of the canal and nicely updated bath. My mother traveled with us and the twin room off of the family room provided her with almost a separate living space from our noisy family when necessary.

Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay forever. We can't wait to come back. Thank you Kim & Scott!

Charming Aqualane Shores, adjacent to the beautiful Port Royal, is a great location and is close to world class dining, shopping and entertainment. Jump on bikes or walk to the beach just 5 minutes away. Or stay at the house, lounge out by the pool and in the evenings dine outside while enjoying the sunset.
