Loved our stay with Jan and Roger. They were very responsive and helpful when we arrived. The house itself is very cool and has an amazing view of the ridge. Would definitely recommend and wouldn't be surprised if we stayed again!

Quite get away

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed a two night stay with a gorgeous view of a Tennessee valley. It turned cold the day we arrived. At least my wife declared it to be cold.

There was ample room in the one room facility. The light switched were a little difficult to master, as there was lights and switches for all the different areas in the room facility.

After having been out hiking in the Fall Creek Falls state park my wife thought the deck was a slice of haven. She set out on the deck and soaked in the sunlight.

I did not smell it, but my wife was sure that there was sulfur in the deep well water. Because she smelled the sulfur, she greatly appreciated the bottled water in the kitchen.

In addition to the deck, my wife just loved taking a soaking bath in the cast iron tub. She told me that it was a little longer than the standard tub and I would enjoy being in it.

The TV and the wifi were excellent, something I especially appreciated.

We had a very enjoyable experience

Great again!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed at this nice little cottage on our honeymoon. One year later, we knew where we wanted to celebrate our first anniversary, so we booked another stay. It's a great place for a romantic getaway. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy some quiet time and a great view.

The overall experience of this stay was great! After a nice, welcoming tour, we settled-in for a quiet evening. The view off the deck is amazing! Thanks so much!

Jan and Roger were both awesome. The cottage is right next door in case you need anything. The view was amazing. My boyfriend and I both needed a simple quiet weekend away from everything and they provided just that. They aren't far from fall creek falls and both Spencer and pikeville are close. It was an amazing experience and we are already planning our next trip back, but this time it will be a little longer!!!
